I will tell you this: once I subscribed to EW Composer Cloud Plus two weeks ago a whole new world opened up to me, and I knew Christmas came very soon this year. Thank you for another fantastic piece of music and the walkthrough, and for allowing people like me, humble music makers, to shine in their own little way.

Not sure if this comment will be read or where to ask these questions, but I was wondering why the 2nd violins in Hollywood Strings 1 do not have a staccatissimo patch. Do they not usually play this articulation, or is there not much difference between the sounds both sections would produce? I usually take things literally - if it's not there, I think they shouldn't be playing the patch.
@EWQLTutorials22 күн бұрын
There just wasn't a staccatissimo recorded with the 2nd violins - if you want shorter than the staccato, just use the 1sts

Great arrangement and production on this Ryan. What was the synth brass patch used in the intro (Walkthrough at 4:25)? It's so very Vangelis like.

Wow , cool track, i love it. May i ask what is the original track is called? Of course i know we have Carol of the bells here, but im asking about this theme playing on lead? Main melody ? Im sure i know it and heard it in past somewhere? And what is even more funny im heard this melody today in documentary series about greek samos island

Impressive as usual. I would have been interested in the way you deal with reverbs, for synth sounds include a lot of effects. I noticed the reverbs of your orchestral instruments were off in Opus, so I guess you send them to an auxiliary reverb. How do you mix acoustic and synthezied instruments?
@EWQLTutorialsАй бұрын
In this case generally the groups of instruments are sent to section reverbs and then those get sent to an additional reverb - see kzbin.info/www/bejne/emmUdpqdi7uljbM for more info on that
@oliviercharade2502Ай бұрын
@@EWQLTutorials Thanks for your quick answer. I know this tutorial which deals with orchestral intruments. My concern is with synthesized insruments for which delays, echos and so on are part of their sound. Adding reverb on them could blur them, Is there any precaution to take when mixing them with an orchestra?

whats the difference between the individual account and the students one?
@EWQLTutorialsАй бұрын
The ComposerCloud Plus subscription is the same, just cheaper for Students/teachers
@MrMannekuinАй бұрын
@@EWQLTutorials Thanks but please could you tell me what information is needed for the student account.
@EWQLTutorials29 күн бұрын
You would send in either a picture of your student ID or any other document with your name/the school's name on it showing you're enrolled to sales@eastwestsounds.com after purchasing the student subscription. You'd be able to use it right away, they would just check that proof/leave the discounted subscription running.

Are all the instruments now sold, or given, through composer cloud only?
@EWQLTutorialsАй бұрын
No you can buy any of our instruments on our website as well. ComposerCloud+ is just the easiest/most affordable way to get all of our instruments.
@sorrowful.sparrowАй бұрын
to my knowledge, you can still buy almost all eastwest libraries individually (i believe some really old ones aren't supported anymore and are only obtainable as extra downloads for composercloud). in fact, i think there's currently a holiday sale on a ton of them.

Hey Ryan! I hope this isn't secret info, but I'm curious: How long does it take you to make a project like this? You make it sound quite easy, but I know it takes a lot of work!
