Same here Alex, may be switching to an EV sooner than I thought. I love the design more than anything, they managed to make the Equinox a very premium choice. It looks great and upscale even. Can’t wait to test drive one.

What's with the stupid mini headlights? Safety first! 🤬 The useless retractable door handles will be quite a pain in the butt in the winter, with ice. We don't need the stupid gadgets! Why the chrome strip on the RS!!? Damn! Don't need stupid chrome! 🤬 Also looks like they haven't heard of something called Armor All for tires, in the US...

Thanks for the comments! Some thoughts... Headlights: to modify a well-known saying... it's not the size of the light, but how strong the light is. With modern LED tech, all you really need is a small light to generate a substantial amount of light. Lights are getting smaller and better (brighter) across the industry. Re door handles: Tesla has something similar and I haven't heard a single complaint yet. Agreed about the chrome strip on RS. I would like to see this blacked out as well. Re Armor All: isn't Armor All from Danbury, Connecticut... aka US? I'm sure "they've heard of it in the US"... but maybe it just wasn't applied to a review vehicle. - Alex Luft
