It would be nice to have the option of a 4 or 5 speed manual trans NOT controlled in any way by the soft ware!!!

My guess is that the Zora will have the LT6 from the Z06 rather than the LT7, for a total of 830 hp. So the ZR1 will still be slightly more expensive and faster at the top end, but the Zora will be quicker acceleration. Basically preserving the same cost, power and speed relationship of the Eray and Z06.

Bad transmissions failure

Today is September 26, 2024. I have a 2025 chevy equinox sitting in my driveway. It is a beautiful automobile, but it shakes like crazy at certain speeds and accelerator positions. I will be taking it in to the dealership in the next couple of days. I only have about 200 miles on it. Please let me know if there is a fix. It is a front wheel drive.

My question for the Zora is what about if they were to up the PSI on the turbos or get bigger turbos To raise the horsepower which everybody that has a Turbo car knows is pretty easy to do. Not only that but who's to say if they're Going to use The same type of electric motors that the E-Ray has and update those electric motors To give more horsepower output per wheel For the front end of the Zora, what would be the Horsepower then?😈

Will the voice button control the air control?

I've got a 2023 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss. Bought it brand new, 0 miles. Was great up until around 40k Miles it started having a shifting issue. Still under warranty until 100k miles. (i am at 52k miles now) Rough idle, misfiring, almost like it's searching for gas and not finding it, or it's not sure what gear to shift into. but when you throw it in neutral, it all goes away. Took to my local chevy 3 times during routine oil changes and all 3 times mentioned this issue and they refused to even diagnose. Said they didn't have the time or manpower. Ok, finally took it to a further away GMC. They Looked at it immediately, said the wiring harness has failed, connected to the transmission, there is wiring that has burned out is the way they explained it. Ordered the part (3 weeks) changed it. Said everything is good. Not even 30 Minutes after leaving the dealer, it was still doing the Issue. Told them I NEED THE TECH to ride along with me and I can show them. NO NO we can't do that, but bring it back. Returned it a week later. they had it the entire day, and claimed nothing was wrong, it's 100% fine, and they even drove it (i doubt it). I Pick up vehicle, and again within 30 minutes, there is the good ole rough idle, and misfiring off the line . I return it again the next week, they have it the entire day, and once again. Call and say the truck is totally fine, they've driven it. I'm starting to think GMC and CHEVY refuse to admit failure, and I'm just stuck in this endless loop twilight zone. I'm guessing the entire transmission is just faulty. Any other thoughts, or help is obviously appreciated. Thanks!

The new Zorro will be a package option of the ZR1. It’s still considered a ZR1. Not a stripped down ZR1. It will be designed to compete with world class exotic super-cars.

It probably is not coordinated with air suspension because of the power running boards.

It will need the extra power. Chevy can't make a lightweight Corvette for some reason. Each new Corvette is heavier than the last . The C8 ZR1 is 3950 pounds wet . That's too heavy for a lean looking car like the Corvette.

we should be getting the c8 zr1 time at the nurburgring soon, winter is coming. hopefully it makes it a full lap without something else in the drivetrain blowing up, or overheating problems.

In the video repeated many times is; it's going to be a "track car" and also lighter weight. Let's first define track. What I am talking about is not a drag strip but a road race course. Very few if any true track focused and true drivers cars are AWD. Will awd do faster lap times? Depending on the weight penalty of the awd to the car you are comparing and the track layout, perhaps. Why don't the majority of talented track drivers use awd cars? The main reason is that they are not fun or rewarding to drive. The same reason why those drivers want a light weight car. Because it is a lot more fun to drive, more rewarding and faster. Why do a lot of track guys want and manual trans? It's slower but again more fun and more rewarding to drive. Sadly the new Zora as described in the video and the ZR1 as well are cars made for marketing headlines, profit and wining the spec sheet wars. The ZR1 is a 4000 lb curb weight car! This is the weight of a Tesla model S. If Chevy wants to make a true drivers car then take the C8 Z06 with the stock power of that glorious flat pane crank beauty and spend all the money to reduce the weight to 2800 to 3000 lbs add some serious ground effect aero. Put a manual in it and Multimatic dampers. Will it be faster on the track? If it's the best handling most intuitive, rewarding, fun to drive and has the best steering and break feel of any Corvette ever made then what difference does it make and who cares? It does need to be said that at 1200lbs less, yes it will be faster on a track. Not on the drag strip. There's a lot of used Mclarens for that kind of money and 800 to 1000 lbs lighter.

if the ZR1 can get anywhere close to 1,090 HP the Zora might be 1,250 HP and my theory is the Zora won't be its on model but just an add on performance package like the ZTK that way the ZR1 will still be the King of the hill and most expensive corvette

The new Equinox looks really good. I think it garners a lot of interests, I saw a 2025 Equinox LT with black exterior accessories option and it really pops visually. My concern though is that gm only offer ONE engine option with the 1.5L turbo, which limits its capabilities and competitiveness. As Chevrolets volume mainstream crossover, the 2025 Equinox need more powertrain options.

BIG BIG NEWS, if what GM Authority says is true. So the ZORA is a direct competitor to the FERRARI SF90XX, WHICH COST A MILLION BUCKS. So Chevy fooled everyone into believing the standard SF90 was the target of the bench marking? Makes a lot of sense until you realize that track focused cars in every manufacturers portfolio cost more than the luxury variants. Porsche sells stripper models like the ST for WAY more than a GT3, and the super wealthy trade them like Baseball cards. Hopefully that wont be the case for Chevy. Doug Demuro says Cadillac eyeing the HYPERCAR BUSINESS for the super wealthy at this moment, and we might get a actual road going LMP car like everybody else including Red Bull are doing, but at that point no regular people can even dream of such.
