2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R POV Dune ride | Drag Racing | 2024 vs 2023 Suspension| Silver lake Problems

First trip @silverlakesanddunes6939 in 2024 in the all new Refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R with the 5.2l Supercharged V8. The truck is still in break in mode so I didn't push it to much. Huge upgrade in power and suspension changes vs the 2021-23 F-150 Raptor. I will be going back soon to push the truck more.

The biggest improvement is the suspension upgrades with the Fox 3.1 dual live valve shocks vs my 2021 F150 Raptor.

Love the vid. I was the gen 2 you started to chase at about 8:26. We had a great turn out with the Midwest Raptor Junkies on this opening weekend. Always looking for more Raptor owners to run with. We will be out on the dunes a few times yet this year. Love the R and great video.

😢I hit a 107mph going across the black rock desert playa in my Gen2 Raptor, as much as i like your truck the gen 2 is still the most aggressive looking Raptor so far. Gen 4 coming a close 2nd in the looks dept. Having over 700hp has to be nice but the cost to run it has me thinking the 3.5 ecoboost that the V8 guys love to bash is actually a more prudent power plant, especially when off roading miles from civilization. Glad its not a mall crawler to you like most we see on the road.

Really cool video! I agree with not pushing them too hard and doing dumb things. Same here, I’ve taken mine out far away from home. 3-4 hours away and always think to myself “I gotta get home”. I’ve never broken anything or even gotten a flat. The only thing I’ve had happen is the horn button came loose. Warranty covered that. Some knuckleheads try to show off usually end up paying for it. We usually hit Anza Borrego, Plaster City, and Johnson Valley. (So Cal). Anyway you can show us how the new headlights look in when on at night?

The eco boost is a better off road machine , the added weight from the V8 is a negative for off-road , the R is great for going to the mall and street drag racing 😂
