Adding a category to this - books! There are loads of cool brand books which look great on coffee tables/shelves and make for good fashion inspo. They're also relatively affordable VS designer accessories/fragrance. Some of my favourites are from Nike/Off-White, Brain Dead, Yohji Yamamoto, and Undercover. Outside of specific fashion books take a look at art, graphic design, and architecture sections - if you're into fashion you likely have at least some appreciation for other creative mediums.

You have to move up when it comes to your fragrance game by going niche such as Terroni by Orto Parisi, Magma by Andra Maack, Purple Suede by Goldfield and Banks, Rouge by Comme des Garcons, or anything by Laboratorio Olfattivo, just to mention some. Fragrances are a dressing accessory, bring yours to the level of your own very good taste in clothing. There is an amazing universe out there far beyond from designer, mall fragrances!!! Cheers!

I recently picked up the Maison Margiela By The Fireplace EDT as John Lewis had them on offer at the lowest price I’d seen. I’ve not been disappointed! It’s perfect for the season and I’ve had comments well into the day after spraying in the morning before work. I love Tom Ford Noir also, as well as Acqua di Parma’s Fico di Amalfi from the Blu Mediterraneo range in the summer.

@@JamesLeung Jazz Club is a banger. I picked up Soul of the Forest (in the same John Lewis sale) which is quite interesting (and very different to Jazz Club) although still pretty expensive even on sale.

A recommendation I have for accessories like belts and wallets, or anything similar, is to look and see if there are any local artisans who make those goods! I picked up a card wallet a few months ago, it's great, I love it, and the person who made it told me that I can bring it back to his shop for repairs at any point if something goes wrong with it, for free! I replaced my old bifold my partner got me, it was from Amazon and had been quickly falling apart in the year I had it. I'm looking at getting a belt next, to replace the one I got from American Eagle, as it looks like it is going to fall apart soon.

Great recommendations. For fragrance, I’d point you to Tauer Sundowner EDP as a really incredible alternative. It sits right in the middle of Jazz Club and Tobacco Vanille’s price point, and is a beautiful, punchy spicy tobacco. For summer, anything from Acqua di Parma’s Colonia line. I like Colonia Futura, as it’s made from nearly all natural ingredients.

With fragrances, By the Fireplace would be my choice for margiela. I'll be getting that one day for those cozy cold days. Right not I just wear the YSL Y EDP and am thinking about adding Dior Homme Intense as well

@ jazz club is the most popular for a reason. It’s awesome, and also more straightforward as a fragrance. Much more versatile. By the Fireplace is just cozy to me, so I want that one. But the use cases are more limited. Margiela fragrances don’t really last though like you said, still nice though.

that Cerave SPF moisturiser is second to none and I can confirm that it lasts longer than you'd expect - whenever I get a new one because I feel like I'm starting to run out, it ends up sitting in a drawer for weeks/months ☠️

I owned the exact western-style belt from Nudie Jeans, and I would probably suggest other alternatives. It did seem great in the beginning, but over the course of six months, the metal became completely tarnished and miscoloured. Lately, I've seen they've almost doubled the price of the belt since I first purchased it, so hopefully they've improved the quality, but from my experience, I would not recommend it!

@@JamesLeung Where I live if you consign designer items they don't return them to the consignee , they donate them as PER agreement so I find designer items all the time. I found it in throw /blanket section and I assume they did not know it was a scarf or know what ACNE is ( I also found 2 pairs of ACNE sneakers for $20 ea)

Jazz Club sadly does have poor staying power. However, Tobacco Vanille definitely has a more artificial vanilla scent to it, I found it disappointing. I've started using Under the Stars by MM and have absolutely loved the scent, but the similar issue of being an EDT
