2024 Goals Update - The Z Garage

Its been too long since we had a video about the Z and we finally have the Z in my garage and ready for some work!
2024 is shaping up to be a year full of work and hopefully getting to visit some Z car meets as well. Current goal is Branson Z Fest at the end of May/beginning of June!

Happy to follow this build. About the rust on the seams.....I would wire wheel that area and spray it with a rust reformer or treat it with naval jelly first before you top coat it and seam seal it. Definitely looks borderline, and may need some fresh metal welded in.

Absolutely! I will be digging into it to make sure there's no issues before I put anything over it. Thanks for the great advice!

There's supposed to be rubber rain guards at the lower corners of the windshield that attach using the side screws on the windshield cowl trim to keep it in place. When removed water will collect along the seam. When the rust is removed just make sure the seam is sealed well and make sure you smooth the area out so theres nowhere for water to get trapped

Interesting, I'll have too look into those and see if it's worth finding a set to put back on.
