Harley Davidson definitely delivered for the 24 model year. The CVO Road Glide ST may easily be the baddest factory v-twin on the market right now. The Street Glide and Road Glide models got a body overhaul, went from the 114 M8 to a 117 M8, a 12.3'' infotainment screen, AND a price DROP. Crazy times but good to see Harley Davidson listening to the people that put them on top!

Harley nailed it this year, especially with the pricing and trimming out the redundant standard and special models. Those CVO STs are a straight homerun, so good.

I think the motor company did the right thing in giving the Pan America the CVO treatment. I love it and I think it will get plenty of interest in here in Europe, where Adventure Bikes are the biggest section of the motorcycle market and the new BMW GS1300 has had a very mixed reception. The Street Glide looks amazing in the chrome trim and Alpine Green paint😘

I was disappointed in the Softails not getting any updates this year. But today's reveal totally redeemed it for me. I really dig the new Glides. I had a 2022 Road Glide standard and they addressed all the issues I had with my bike. The 107, small bags, crappy rear suspension, awful handlebars, and seat. I cannot wait to try this new model out.

My only knock is no inverted forks on the regular models yet. Ride modes get them in line with Indian on that front! I loooovvee that blue burst or whiskey fire red! If they had done the road king in those, might have to trade mine! The white pearl and alpine green are also awesome, so four or five colors I would for sure be happy with!

Hey Blair. Great content… BUT… I have to strenuously disagree with you on so many parts. You are about the 3rd KZbinr that I’ve heard say about all this price drop… Ok… a few Soft Tails went down… BUT… I ride a 22 Electra Glide Standard… With that said… Harley killed the EG Standard and the Road King Standard. Both $19999 or $20K entry level baggers. This year, they stopped distinguishing between standard/special/and ST. BUT… They didn’t reduce anything. They took away the customer choice between engine sized 107 standard and 114 special. They took the new “base model” from $23K to $26k. How is that a price drop? Your closest “special” would be the new CVO ST and that’s $42k. Where is the entry level bagger? Where is a bagger that will help bring new riders to the bagger scene on a budget? They don’t exist. If these new offerings were my only choice 2 years ago… I would have been priced out of doing business with Harley. I also don’t get the “horsepower fanboy” thing that seems to be the current fad. If you want to road race… build a moto GP bike. I think a vastly larger segment, especially the bagger segment, want comfortable, relaxed, cruising. Not “how fast can we rip the twisties.” Sorry. I am absolutely not happy with anything the Motor Company has done this release. I feel that they are catering to way too small of nice markets and forgetting about the majority of their base and those looking to get into touring on a budget. Especially in this economy.

I think this was a great release. I love the looks of both the SG and RG. Modern yet still Harley’s essence with the M8 and the looks. I would still choose the SG from both of these. I was only surprised why they didn’t bring out a SG ST as well. Another aspect I like is that they kept the frame mostly as it was before, that’s really good stuff. I am giving it some thought now as to whether I should get a SG instead of the Fat Boy as originally planned (I have an Iron already).

The good: The MSRP is lower but you get All LED lighting, integrated WHIM now along with integrated RDRS, The 12 in. TFT screen, standard 200 watt audio/Car Play and the 117 cu motor. All in all-I'd say that's a really good value compared the the same old bland year after year servings we've gotten since 2015. The bad: I am NOT a fan of the new saddle bag shape and there's not too many accessories you can swap over from your 2014 thru 2023 except the 4 point hitch. Lastly the 2024 colors don't excite me either and Vivid Black is now a $650 option!

I'm not sure about the CVO ST eagle graphics - seems a bit dated, but the final sequence with the two buddies was AMAZING and I'm frankly suprised it slipped by he corporate hand-wringers. As for Pan America CVO: Yeah, I see the custom paint jobs but mine has spend way too much time on fire roads and rocky mountain passes and campsites for all that. The CVO is pretty, I guess.

can you answer this question- why does the 117 engine in the new street-glide and road-glide have the vvt style engine cover but supposably aren't a vvt engine. the horsepower and torque gains sure do make it seem like it's under that cover. why would they put the cover on the engine? please give me your thoughts on this.

Not thrilled about the extra $1350 for a black motor but in the grand scheme of things I get it. I have looked at the white and the red street glides with the black trim like 20 times today already. Yeah thats a lot. Rough math I came up with about 4k in extra parts vs. the non CVO model. That means you're paying about 4k for paint ,mostly which I do really like but since there isn't much bodywork on the Pan Am you could also have it painted for a tad less I suppose.

@@BeardedBavarianBiker. I agree with some of that but the suspension in these bikes is not as good as the units you got on the old ST baggers. This is essentially a little nicer version of the outdated suspension Harley baggers have had for years. That’s why it’s not on the CVO level bikes. On those bikes, you see upside down forks and suspension systems that are closer to what was included on the old ST baggers.

They definitely are looking better and the technology is moving in the right direction, but are getting out of the price range for many buyers. Too many good bikes out there from other manufacturers that will scratch the itch for many.

Im glad to see the forward progress they made. I was expecting to see more performance design rather than cost saving efforts. They have been overpriced for years, and the sales were unaffected by this in the past. We all buy a harley and then spend more money on it immediately to make upgrades. I dont feel like we buy harleys based on price and value as much as love of the brand and style. I hope to see more coming in the future since the bagger races phenomenon.

I think HD really stepped up there game on the touring line up for 2024 with the Roadglide and Streetglide. Especially with the CVO Roadglide ST. It looks killer! But there are a couple things on the CVO Roadglide ST that kinda take away from the overall looks. I would say that I am not a fan of the Screaming Eagle logo that starts on the fairing and carries over to the gas tank.It looks really dated.Like back to the very early 2000s. It takes away from the overall look. I understand that HD was maybe going for that retro look and the retro tank "Harley Davidson" badging from the late 1970s lowrider that they put on this bike as well as all of the previous year ST models looks great alone. But they could've done without the eagle. I'm also not a fan of the carbon fiber funky print theme that they went with on this RG CVO ST. If they had went with the traditional carbon fiber gloss print that you would normally see on genuine carbon fiber body parts,I think it would've looked much better. But other than that I think HD did an awesome job building a factory race inspired bagger! SHOVELHEAD JOE

I'm from England and own two Harley's. Quite a few of my friends own and ride Harley's and have done all of their adult lives. The fact is that these so called new models are minor tweaks of existing machines with new colours. Do you think it's a case of emperor's new clothes. Someone on Harley Road Glide design team REALLY, REALLY liked the Indian Challenger's look. I really like the new street glide profile, but I was confused on the street glide and the road glides getting a 117 (which I think is great) but the much more expensive Limited's only get a 114. I like seeing Harley come out with new products and overall I think it was a much needed overhaul for touring bikes. CVO ST BIKE IS SWEET, THANKS LOVE YOUR CONTENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the New Bikes but a CVO Pan America! Really Harley? I wonder if they will X the Road King or revamp it for a 2024.5 Model?

Lower price and a bigger motor are for sure a plus in my eyes. Not a fan of that new tank or those bags. I see no extended bag version and what happened to the non CVO ST? The ST is one of hottest models, but guess what, most can't afford it in 24! No regular ST models is going to cost them sales, makes no sense. As for the Pan AM CVO, so the market is getting them painted because there is hardly anything to paint=equals low cost. CVO version is an $8K upgrade, ahhh where is the value? It's not in painted parts!
