FYI... The front wheel drive version has 6.9 inches of ground clearance but the awd version you have there has 8.3 inches.

The N-Line and Limited trims get 8.3” of ground clearance. It compares to the Subaru Crosstrek and is class-leading. The engine does have some turbo lag, but it’s perfectly peppy for someone doing normal driving. It’s not a race track vehicle and it was never meant to be. People need to stop expecting that from vehicles that are built to be commuter cars.

This is the best looking crossover in it's price hands down. The Trax doesn't have four wheel drive otherwise it may be a close competitor.

NO, Seltos is the KIA equivalent, but only comes in ICE version; the Niro is considered a "hatchback sedan", even though its longer than Kona. Also, only Niro has PHEV option, which CR rates highest over all versions!

Hello, do you know what size is the spare tire and the center bore size? In Canada all trim doesn’t have spare tire. Maybe you know where I could find one?

There's difficulty driving the steering wheel at 9 and 3 o clock. For the most part, had to drive at 10 and 2 o clock position.

I have the base model because I don't see any value in spending extra money on silly extras ... not a problem so far at 15,000 ks here in Australia gutless but like they say " doesn't have to be good just good enough"

I bought yesterday 2024 Kona AWD. But i feel like "Stering having heavy vibration" while driving in highway any speed between 40 and 70. Is it Normal?

Its not normal I have the 1.6 Turbo front wheel drive. 0 vibration at all speeds. Plus you have a 2024 everything should be perfect by definition

I just got a Kona SEL AWD 2024. No conv pkge. Hasn't vibrated at all. No problems & really fun to drive. Yours shouldn't be vibrating.

unfortunately, making it wider means it will be a tight fit in our older garage and the small ground clearance is the main reason I sold my civic. I HATED scraping anything with it, but it was unavoidable living in a city. I was ready to buy a new Kona this week but guess I’ll keep looking!

They destroyed it!! My 2022 Limited AWD has plenty of power and s setting is fantastic, I love the DCT!!! Now it has been ruined!!! Thank you for your honest review.

Those are nice vehicles but some people don't kind sacrificing all of that extra room for MPG and maintenance cost. For me personally, I don't need room for an entire extra row and can always out seats down for furniture etc

I am driving a brand new KONA right now. Rental. My Toyota Camry is in shop for a recall. I would never buy a KONA, it is seriously under-powered. And overpriced IMHO. But I am really not minding this car. I really like the interior. The seats are comfortable. And I am digging the electronics. The back up camera is far superior to my Camry's.

Looking into the EV version, unless I get the KIA Niro PHEV instead. Or, I'll get the Limited AWD ICE version, which would be my 3rd Kona Limited ICE crossover since 2019. Was also considering a Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid XSE... BUT the inside is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bland, and the Toyota dealerships are CROOKS! Because it's a Toyota, they all feel that they can sell at or above MSRP (nobody will sell under) and they force you to take overpriced add-ons because "they can".

When you buy a corolla, you buy simplistic, so everything is cheap to fix. Impreza has $2000 bezels, you will never see this. If you want something premium you have to go to lexus. People buy toyota for cost to fix, cost to insure and cost to own as cheap as it is. Less is better, simplistic and functional. This is why my Rav4 is 17 yrs old

@@bjsimon802 Turns out that since I posted this, I wound up getting a 2023 KIA Niro EV Wave trim for less than Toyota! As a leased EV, I have won the lottery!! All the tax breaks and no worries about batteries. Home charger goes in shortly. Very happy with the EV.
