The only thing with the turbo/hybrid combo is not only will you have to eventually buy a new battery, you’ll also have to buy a new turbocharger. It’s a matter of which one will go first. However, if you don’t plan on keeping this car past 10 years/100,000 miles, you will be safe.

Watching your hands off driving is interesting, but after a few seconds, the car will give an unmistakable message to keep your hands on the wheel. You discussed the LKA (Lane Keeping Assist), however, a second push of that button should give you Lane Centering where the car will use the cameras to keep the auto centered within the lines on either side of the lane. It allows you to rest your hands on the wheel without having to be actively be adjusting it. This makes highway driving less intense.
