They'll envy you for buying something that rides better, has a better interior, better sound deadening, better road handling (let's face it, the Defender is NOT going off road, unless you count jumping the curb at Starbucks), better quality materials, better fuel economy, better interior room, a significantly better warranty, and it won't inexplicably die 4-6 times a year. Just bought one of the hybrids and live in Vallarta Mexico. The roads here are mostly cobblestone so a soft suspension vehicle is ideal and as a tourist city with half a million residents it is best for a hybrid with 36 mpg. Have guests who visit all the time so 7 passengers a plus when needed. Since 0-60 is never really an option and stoplights and speed bumps a plenty (57) of them from a 2 hour trip to the mountains each way, a SUV like this is perfect. Plenty of zip from 0-40 and then who cares is ideal. The bisectional console probably will sell hundreds for those who have visited here. Adios and muchas gracias for the review.

Off-Road Surprise As noted, select crossovers are showing some unexpected off-road prowess. My 2019 Santa Fe, for example, holds its own against friends Subarus in terms of ground clearance, Clarence and suspension. The AWD lock function even feels like it makes a difference. Throw on some good tires, and this thing could handle light off-roading like basic BLM (the Land Mgmt) camping or exploring backroads. I'm really digging the look of the rumored XRT version - fingers crossed it becomes a solid reality with options. On-Road Champion Of course, these SUVs truly shine on pavement. The current "Smart Sense" suite, with its adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, is arguably up there with the very best in the industry. The technology simply works flawlessly on mine. These comfortable cruisers are also surprisingly rugged.

I always thought it was pronounced like "Sunday" like that commercial from a while back. But I'll start saying "heeeundai" like you guys do because I trust you with my life and my happiness and eventually my firstborn.

No one in North America knows about Ssangyong Rodius, but in Korea, the Santa Fe is very famous due to it's design, which is really similar

You are driving two blocks away from my house! I started watching you guys 2 years ago when you were in Canada, then saw you get to SoCal, now you are on Lynn road and Potrero, my house is on the old part of Potrero directly in front of the mountain you are using as a background! If you keep going like this, you’ll be filming on my front lawn by next week…😊

Who would not want land rover looking car that would not lie on its belly when the apple carplay stops working? I think the styling change is just perfect, practical Hyundai with all its reliability and proper looks.

@@sirius4k what do you mean it doesn't show anything? They noticed an issue with the way the transmission shifted and took it in, and Hyundai ended up replacing the whole transmission. The vehicle wasn't even a month old
@sirius4k8 ай бұрын
@@eleanormassaro5195 It's a single case. There's not one car company with a perfect track record with reliability. What are you going to do? Not buy anything? 1 in 100 doesn't mean anything, 1000 in 100000 doesn't mean anything. If this is going to be a wider issue then it's worth considering if you would really want to buy it. If you watched the video, you also know that the transmissions are made in South Korea, the cars in the US (for US market anyway), so yeah.. with that kind of setup, shit is more likely to come up, I guess.

As a car hauler I deliver Hyundai & Kia’s all the time. Out of all the new cars I haul,if I were buying a car tomorrow I’d buy a Hyundai/kia or some sort of Toyota/Lexus. An this includes brands like BMW,Mercedes,Ford,Honda etc just to name a few. Their quality has come SO far and to ME there isn’t much difference to spend the extra money for the other brands.

Love the new intro. Have you thought about combining a few of your reviews and releasing a weekly or bi weekly long format show that includes the banter, news, etc (thinking modern top gear) and then releasing edited review segments as needed for the algorithm? I think you two are the replacement for the displacement of the OG TG.

I got a ride in a Hyundai SUV a few years ago, infact its quite a few years ago now... it surprised me, pretty sure it had proper 4wd and lockers, atleast rear and central... and 220 hp diesel, it was pretty cool, it was just a short go around the neighborhood, it was pretty much brand new, looked amazing too, quite the opposite to this design, swooping looking thing, I liked it! And I as surprised by the power, I maybe had expected 150 - 170 hp, and being diesel it had the torque wave, very nice! And it was big!

Its a little misleading saying it starts at $40999CAD.While technically true, the big caveat is that is for the 1.6T hybrid model that is not available yet and to go with the 2.5l is 49000$
