Had to comment just for the outro song - thank for the effort you put into Makita content - I have just got the DTD172 in the UK. Makita's ergonomics are head and shoulders above Dewalt and Milwuakee on the vast majority of tool categories. Hikokis multi volt platform is slowly starting to become attractive. it's looking better and more reliable than Failvolt. Thumbs up.

The triple hammer impacts are some of the nicest impacts to use, but only on certain tasks. I never use them on anything large. I've had them do weird things that Hikoki and their fans seem to ignore. But on small screws they are one of the most comfortable impacts to use.

Great comparison. Every tool that I own is Makita, I am still on the 18v platform because they still meet my needs, especially with my homemade batteries. It's to bad that Panasonic is lacking in power , I like the design and looks of it, I would probably buy one if it was not so limited in performance, it might still be a good driver for cabinet makers that don't need to drive large fasteners.

I have had the Bosch Freak Gen 1 and I have the latest one showcased in this video. Honestly, if you do some car work the ease of just swapping between sockets and different bits is just so much of a game changer. Sure it's slower and not as powerful as others, but the ease of versatility tops other metrics in my case. Also some solid piece of equipments. From now on I'll just be buying Forge batteries, not much point carrying anything else around, maybe a pair of 3.0HO batteries for the nail guns. I also own the Gen4 impact, and its perfectly fine on a 5.0 unit for 99% of what a carpenter does; if I need to send home a big gnarly Spax screw then I MIGHT break out my 6.0HO for it. Now, can we do a Gib screw gun comparison so I can have full scale buyer's remorse after shelling out $450 on the Milwaukee screw gun today?

A comprehensive test here in states would need to include Flex, Kobalt, Hercules, craftsman

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO FINDS THE MILWAUKEE GEN 3 IMPACT TO BE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!!! Seriously, try using it in regular situations where it's not perfectly up and down with all your weight down on it, the bit WILL slip constantly. I borrowed one on site and was like WTF is with it slipping, 6 months later they go on sale and I forgot why I hated it and bought a combo and instantly remembered... the bit constantly slips out unless you are on a low setting. I do this for a living I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE TO NOTICE THIS! Review after review on how good the Milwaukee impact is and I scream in frustration!!!

No you're not the only one.
@robertrada47832 ай бұрын
That isn’t limited to the third generation. All Milwaukee impacts are like that. They’re for knuckle heads that don’t mind fifteen dents around a stripped out screw.

@@robertrada4783You sound like a knuckle head yourself. Maybe use the tools correctly. You'll hurt yourself

@@robertrada4783Talk about knuckle head. Use the tools correctly. God I can't believe people don't know how to operate tools properly. Such stupidity

I have three of them, rarely use them since I have a couple of their compact ones. Prefere smaller tools as often I can manage without the extra power. I wish I had Makita, those are the most comfortable, if you ask me. Not most powerful, but good enough. Would have loved to see if the new Bosch 220 is on par with Makita, I hope so. I have some Bosch tools as well. This 220 one looks nice and small.. 😃

I was hoping to see the new Bosch impact driver gdr 18v 220. I prefer the Bosch with the 1/4 in. collet instead of the 1/2 in version

Ive never had Mikita tools. I just need to make sure to show my wife the purple ones and she will say I have to have them. 😁

The Bosch thrives on a pro core pack.
@mrclive52 ай бұрын
It still wouldn't have won, not even close, but it definitely performs. I love mine, 32mm irwin speed bores aren't a problem.

They all perform better on better packs.

@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL so true, but please forgive me, I just had to defend the Bosch. It's not able to compete with the top players, but it does a fine job when paired with 21700 cells. I know you already know that, I just wanted to tell anyone who didn't. Cracking channel, keep it up!

isn't the issue on the xgt chuck, that it is build for japan bits. i have the same, i put in a little piece of rubber with that the bosch bits wont drop out again
@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL16 күн бұрын
That can be part of the issue, but I have at least 8 Japanese chuck impacts, and they don't all do it. The Gen 2 40v has the detent ball in a different place causing the issue.

@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL is it possible to change the clutch. Would be an interesting video if it is possible

Do Harbor freight’s not exist where you are, or are you a Non-U.S. reviewer?
@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL2 ай бұрын
Did you comment based solely on the thumbnail?
@willhutton15162 ай бұрын
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL yeah lol. Sorry. Most tool review channels are from the U.S. and are VERY loyal to their brand of tools lol. Milwaukee has some of the most loyal and probably hard-headed fans out there. They just don’t know how bad they have it with their warranty system. Hercules from Harbor Freight has a 5-year tool warranty (3-year battery warranty) that is just Over-The-Counter. Super easy to exchange and get a new tool.
@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL2 ай бұрын
So from your comments I have come to the conclusion you work for Harbor freight.

Вот по этому автоматический патрон нафиг не нужен, терять оснастку во время работы, это гораздо хуже чем красиво её вставлять без оттяжки.
