@@Allcarnews I live in the UK so the coupe is more practical given we see the sun 4 times a year. But if I lived in Spain or Italy or California etc. I think I’d have gone for the soft top!

Coupe is the only option. Convertible kills the lines/shape of one of the best looking coupes in the world.

V8 is great for show but the V6 is arguably the best for daily driving. Plenty of power, better exhaust noise and if you're lucky like me you can find one with the brilliant manual gearbox. All the pops and crackles, none of the farting between gear changes.

Nonsense. The v6 is for those who can’t afford a v8 (purchase, ins, gas, repair). Period.

@@dlj1285 rubbish, I am yet to see anyone daily a V8 RWD. Besides they don't come with a manual gearbox so they're effectively different experiences. Nothing to do with cost. The same can't be said of the 2L F-type. The V6 RWD manual is the best across the range, period. 😂

@@JWL-UK Who said anything about dailying? I’ll give you the manual. That said, the implementation of the ZF in these things is so involving that I don’t miss a manual as much as I thought I would. Besides, I hear it’s not a very good manual, but I’ve never driven one. I think for many it has a lot to do with cost, even if it does not for you. The 4 cylinder, it sounds like we agree on that…I’m not a fan of that small motor in the F-type. Lots of people seem to like the v6, but many move up to the 8 eventually from there. Read many accounts of that. To each their own at the end of the day.

@@dlj1285 I did in my first comment. I daily mine and despite having the capital, I don't see myself swapping a V6 manual for an auto V8. The "it's not a very good" manual is replicated by car journalists that have never ever even seen on in flesh. Rory's F-type manual review video gets close although it took me about a month or two to learn how to modulate clutch for sport/spirited driving. And there are only 188 in the UK so I'm definitely keeping mine.
