I just placed a custom order for the 24 Compass Trailhawk thru Military Auto Sales (which is a terrific program). I went with this vehicle because it checked all the blocks at a manageable price. 4WD (for severe weather and/or camping trips), the elite package for nice creature comforts (mainly the heated wheel and bucket seats with 8 axis adjustability, upgraded lights and adaptive cruise control), sun and sound package because I love sunroofs and jamming out. I basically wanted a vehicle with a little pep, adaptability to adverse driving conditions, a few modern luxuries, and a style that appeals to me (including the white paint with black and red decals). Looking forward to installing an aftermarket roof rack, front/rear dash cameras and an anti-theft tracker. All that drip checked every block at the mid-spec price of a Grand Cherokee or entry level Bronco (which were the only other vehicles I was considering -yes I’m aware they’re vastly different). Thanks for your reviews. They helped me decide. Cheers

Wow! Gorgeous Jeep! You went a little too fast for this viewer, so here is why I am writing. I just rented one of these models from Enterprise. Wonderful vehicle, in my opinion. I LOVED IT!!! This was my first experience driving a Jeep product, EVER, and I am in my 60s. However, despite the beauty, I could not figure out how to adjust the info settings that switches the screen behind the steering wheel to show the various trip settings mileage, etc., as shown around the 3:30 mark on this video. You told us what we can see, but you did not show us what we must press to see all of the various readings; again, this is really why I am sharing this comment. Again, I loved this Jeep. Only issue I was slightly concerned about involves the fuel usage. I did city driving and a few rural 55 MPH roads during my trip. Sadly, I burned at least a half tank of gas doing just about 130 miles. I cannot comment on highway fuel consumption, but after my one day experience with the half-tank of fuel usage, I would be a bit nervous doing my highway trips, which are typically about 2000 miles per trip. I suspect I would spend a LOT of cash to keep the tank full, and that price would not include the many toll expenses. So, do you have any info on how to utilize this Jeep’s fuel consumption, economically? I really would like to drive this comfortable great handling vehicle on my next road trip. P. S. Speed reviewer, that center console lid adjusts- forwards and backwards-very well to cater to your arm rest needs. That too is a nice extra feature.

I was NOT in the market to buy another car however when I had to use the trail hawk for a rental….i loved it. I have been looking online now, they are hard to find with the options I’m looking for. I like it.

I was driving it for 20 minutes, from the rental lot to my driveway and my butt started hurting. I was starting to loose feelings down my leg 🤨

I leased a '21 Renegade Trailhawk. I liked it at first, fully loaded, upgraded stereo, full panoramic roof, paid a little over $34k new. Aside from all of the normal Renegade electrical issues (had 7 warranty service issues before 7000 miles). The final straw was when two components in the front suspension broke when driving on a snow-covered road. I couldn't believe it...the furthest I took that Renegade off road was my front yard to wash it. It only had 8500 miles and I had it for 8 months. And during the height of the parts shortages in 2021, the suspension components that needed to be replaced were on backorder for an undetermined amount of time. I took it back to the dealer and told them to do whatever they could to get me out of that lease. With the inflated used car values, I was able to get into a '22 Durango (which my wife still drives today). Just because it says "Trailhawk" doesn't mean that it has Wrangler capabilities. Buyer beware on the smaller Jeeps...there will never be another in my driveway.
