I got one of these but one-upped a step further with the 20th anniversary edition which has on-board air compressor replacing the fuel caddy and some cool badging and decals. Now we’re closer to $130k. Then I lost my mind and added a rooftop tent, awning, slide out fridge, tailgate table, paint protect, etc. This pushed it into Lamborghini price territory. Totally worth it since I can live in it lol.

No one can afford a125.000 jeep. Plus 11-25% interest rates high insurance rates, high gas prices and high maintenance costs. This is why there's lot rot on dealers lots. Plus add ons, nitrogen tires 400. Dent fix 2000.00 paint protection 4000.00 taxes .

Yeah there are people who can afford them, and they pay cash in some cases.Then some people trade paid off vehicles so they have a lot of equity and finance the balance. There's always going to be someone with a lot of money.

@@JoeSmith-nu8ooKeep telling yourself that. Sure maybe there are the few. But $120,000 for a freakin Jeep is moronic. There aren’t THAT many millionaires roaming around. There is a major car market crash on the horizon. A regular persons Jeep still costs $50-60K for a nicely equipped one. Add in taxes, dealer fees and interest on the money borrowed and you’re looking at $1,000 a month just for the payment. Add in insurance, gas and maintenance on top of that.

In Canada they have a luxury tax also on any vehicle over $100K. You pay 25% on the amount over $100K. In Ontario for example, a $120K vehicle will cost you $18,000 in tax.

Totally agree on the AEV upfitting. I have a V6 JL370 that is now sitting on 38s and a 392 Wrangler on order. AEV has a great suspension, but I am going a different route on the 392.

I feel like there’s going to be a revolution soon. The way things are going and people’s wages being stagnant for years… eventually all of this that we know will come falling. This path we are on isn’t sustainable.

It should have came like that from the factory with 37's with at least the lift and suspensions for 100k , could always add aftermarket stuff later

This is an example of a just because you can, doesn’t mean you should type of build. This will sit for a long time. That bumper is also going to cause overheating and that payload is laughable 😂. After people and gear you’re going to be overweight.

I’ve never add an overheating issue my 392 JL370. It’s been an incredible and reliable Jeep. It’s ran the Rubicon, been to KOH, and Sand Hollow. Truly peak Jeep.

What about the hardtop inside being black? Is that a new thing? My 392 top is white inside…..and I’m pretty sure it looks identical but just white.

same roof. was just white before. same. The 2.72:1 t case just blows on these. jeep didn't put a dana 60 on, so had to AWD it. :*(

I don’t know if I would want the 392 AEV, the original is perfectly fine with me. However, a comparison with a Hennessy Ranger Raptor, with the same price point. I’ll probably go with Ranger Raptor mod

Good to see Jeep catering to professional athletes and reality TV celebrities, who have obviously been their core audience for the last 70 years. After all, who the hell else can afford a 120k Wrangler without taking a second mortgage? I also love seeing over 20k in AEV armor on a vehicle that will never even see a gravel road. It’s just hubris mixed with being completely out of touch with their market at this point. I wonder what manufacturer will own Jeep next…

Needless to say, this is really in supercar territory. It think the people purchasing this want to add a jeep to their driveway but want the magnum opus jeep and not just any weak feable jeep

Nothing. Nothing about this vehicle justifies one hundred and twenty thousand dollars. Not even mentioning tax, markups, additional accessories, and thats before Finance puts you through their ringer. Easily 140k. Even half that is laughable.
