Thank you, for the video! I own EV9 Gt-line fully loaded in 6 seat configuration with full relaxation pack in Finland sience January 2nd 2024. Did over 5000 km so far (some 3100 miles). Great car overall! Very quiet, fast, still relaxing to drive. No problem with consumption or charging. Even in cold Finnish winter, my consumption was 2 miles/kWh. Found a few small complaints, though: 1) front cup holders area is dark... why there is no ambient lightning there - have no clue. 2) on board battery preconditioning system is not powerful enough. It is 6 kWh max (what I saw myself) and can take 40-50 minutes to get the battery pack to the optimum temperature in a very cold environment Else is simply great! Ton of interesting features (like automatic side cushion inflation on speeds above 130 km/h 😊.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am Korean and also owned fully loaded EV9 gt-line here in Korea, I totally agree with you. This car is great overal package for family so I don't have to go buy a minivan(Carnival) with an EV sportscar. In my opinion, ride quality is certainly better than EV6, Ioniq 5 and on par with gv60. The size of this vehicle doesn't not matter but its 3.1 meter wheelbase does matter especially underground parking lot in shopping mall (East Asia is packed everywhere lol) I am proud one of our car companies made such a nice EV and satisfied people who bought it Thank you for sharing 👍

I have the same car. The lease deals are great, MF and residual kept payment 100s lower than most cars at the similar price point. Everything you said is right on. Thanks for doing these videos.

Thank you for your honest reviews! I've been looking at the EV 9 for a while. Trading in my Model Y for the EV9! :)

FYI, most dealers give it 7-9k discounts to counter being not qualified for fed incentives for not being built here. Some also offer very low if not 0%APR. Its an amazing deal for this big car with tech features that you will only get from 100k cars. Kia changed me with their Tellurides and EV6. I love my EV6 and can't wait to have EV9 when its built in Georgia with NACS on it.

The ground clearance is really appreciated that they kept it low. We use this to shuttle our families around and the grandparents can get into the captains chairs very nicely while the kids stuff into the back. This thing is definitely a Road Yacht.

Yeah, a lot of EV companies including Kia offer immediate cash discounts from $7000 to $10,000+. It depends on a lot of factors. You have to play with the payment calculator. Also, your state or city may even offer more discounts. Basically, the government and dealers are trying to push the adoption of electric cars but you have to seek out those discounts. They are only available for a couple years.

Do you have cargo length and width with 2nd and 3rd rows down? I am not a fan of cubic ft measurement. Most people need to know if something will fit. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing! What are your thoughts on the ev9 GT vs model X? We have a model X as our family car but are really considering trading it in for the ev9. One thing that I really dislike about the model X are the falcon wing doors with our young child and baby. I find the doors to be more of a hassle with getting two little ones in and out of car seats. Any thoughts on how the ev9 would be with car seats?
@theCountOfTotal9 ай бұрын
I own an ev9. The back doors are HUGE and can open almost 90° so you have alot of space to move the kids in and out, but also installing the seats is a breeze. Very practical!

It's a much better family hauler than the Model X. More room for sure! Back doors are huge too...

I really love your reviews! Now I appreciate my kia seltos more even though it’s not an EV. Maybe in the future, KIA EV would be in the list.

Great videos! Looking at the EV9 now after almost pulling the trigger on a new MX. I test drove one and now I’m diving deep into the vid reviews like yours! Did you consider the LAND model? And if so, what made you pick the GT Line @ the end of the day? Also, are you using the tesla wall charger to charge the EV9? Thanks @SammyGeek!

Would love to hear Sam's answer on this. I'm very close to pulling the plug on trading my Model 3 for this vehicle. Tesla has been a great experience for me. Not perfect but I legit love the driving experience.

Love your videos. I am a geek as well so I like to look at the numbers. I am thinking about trading in our model Y too for bigger space. Our MY has 7 seats because we are a family of 6. Just wonder if they require you to do service with KIA as you know Tesla doesn't have to do any services. I had 50k miles in 30 months. Don't miss the service at all.

Hello. Does it have any app in the infotainment system like KZbin app or Netflix to watch while parked ? I have children and it was great to entertain them while I'm stopped in some situations. thanks. I've ordered it in snow white pearl but I'm in doubt if the Aurora black color is more beautiful in real life....I never seen one in that color ... thanks

No first hand knowledge, but I bet in California, Massachusetts, New York, etc it’s still selling OVER msrp…
@erikruggels91779 ай бұрын
Bought at launch for msrp, it’s been below since in California, it’s a volume model and CA buys the most EVs, it’s a great time to get an EV.
@cranburydad9 ай бұрын
Nope. I've seen posters in all those states quoting way under MSRP. Saw it myself in NY. Of course some dealers to mark it over sticker but that's just there for a the chumps who don't negotiate or competitive shop, even at the same dealer or their nearest competition. Also, Kia nationally throws in $7,500 as an incentive, before you even start negotiating with the dealer.
