Great job comparing these 2. We test drove both, and the kia had an initial wow factor, but driving the two back to back, the subaru had a more solid feel connected to the road feel, yet it was quieter. It showed me the subaru has made the extra effort to give the car a ride quality that I want to have. Although the kia turbo gave you a quicker acceleration the ride didnt feel as connected to the road, had a wishy washy feel, and yet it was louder in the cabin. My wife owned a kia soul for 10 years, and wanted an upgrade and actually expected to buy the seltos, but feel in love with the crosstrek sport in green with gold trim. She said the quietness of the cabin was what she really loved, it felt like better quality to her than the seltos

I bought the Crossrek Onyx trim a couple of weeks ago but I also considered the Seltos. It came down to a few things. I wanted a car made in Japan. I did not want a turbo on a small displacement engine..wears it out faster and they seem to freeze up here in canada on really cold days and make the car unusable until you can thaw it out. The all wheel drive system and the ground clearance are better in the subaru...along with the resale value. I do like the extra space and some of the interior details in the Kia but the Crosstrek suited my needs and was a few thousand cheaper. Good review...i hope your channel really takes off.
