I love multi use trails! I’m an avid mountain biker, dirt biker, horseback rider and hiker so I bring all the perspectives. Multi use gives me more choice to use more trails in more ways I want to and a little maturity allows me to enjoy it with others without getting crusty.

Unless you have a really good horror, so I wouldn’t write it on a trail with either mountain bikes or motorcycles I’ve seen too many horse people get hurt

@@bradleyhetherington2145 We do it all the time in Colorado. Was just at Seep Springs and we had horses, dirt bikes, mountain bikes and 4x4s and everyone was respectful and got to enjoy the trails and the horses were absolute pros. I know there are circumstances where it doesn't work well but as much as possible, I love to see multi-use trails as it expands open space opportunity for everyone. And if you can get past the disappointment of having to halt a bombing run downhill to give way to a horse and appreciate the majesty and beauty of sharing the trail with one, you end up gaining so much more than what that adrenaline would have provided you. I get it, it's not easy but I love sharing the trail with everyone. The other thing that it 'hopefully' does is teach everyone to slow down and be cautious. I can have just as much fun riding mountain bikes, dirt bikes or a horse slow as I can fast when you teach yourself to enjoy the experience. I know, utopia but I just hate limiting choice.

I’m an avid mountain biker too, but I go out of my way to avoid riding heavily used multidirection trails on the mountain bike. I regularly go down to the springs and ride that location, but usually I only ride some of the segments on Jacks. I prefer riding some of the unsanctioned trails in the area though. Last Saturday, the 17th I timed the thunderstorms perfectly. There’s a running race happening and it’s lightly sprinkling when I left Jacks lot. I removed my rain jacket at the location where you started this video. I only encountered three other people and I did a loop up Jones Park, and back down pipeline and to the end of moto legal portion of lake moraine. It was incredible. Not having all the heavy trail traffic and the exceptional conditions. Albeit feet were soaked from all the water that made in my boots.

That MTB rider had to have headphones on and the music cranked, otherwise he would have heard Jeff's bike. It is pretty dumb to ride on a busy multi use trail listening to loud music instead of what is going on. Jack's is just way too busy, plus there have been a lot of complaints of theft in the staging area. I haven't ridden there in years. Nice riding by Jeff though! I recently rode a friend's new 300 TBI, it seemingly ran as good as my perfectly tuned '18 300 XC carb'd bike 😆 He fouled a plug on our ride though, fortunately he had a spare. I hear the TBIs are having some trouble with fouling plugs, which I don't get, as the bike runs crisp and well. In stock form anyway, the TBI is definitely snappier than a TPI.

I'm sorry, you must have fallen asleep. Grab a cup of Joe and watch it again. I clearly explained it is the best suspension set-up that KTM has provided to date.

@@slaverace1 still not plush , still deflects and can be improved….. doesn’t really sound like the best set up they have delivered to date …. 2012 closed cartridge fork was amazing…..

This is some of the most thrilling beautiful and unspoilt terrain I have ever seen. I have never seen as much foot, bicycle and motorcycle traffic all fighting for the same 2 feet of dirt track. What makes it worse is your going against them. It should be directional and favour the labour intensive. Make the loop easiest for the walker and hiker, then MTB then Motorcycles. Otherwise your going to kill someone. Plain and simple, the motorcyclists will kill someone.

Hello: That has been a motorcycle trail for 50+ years, way before mtn bikes were invented. It is the only legal motorized trail in our county while the mtn bikers and hikers have over 100 trails to choose from. I'm an avid mtn biker, hiker, equestrian and dirt biker, but on that trail the users other than dirt bikers can kiss my grits.

I don't ride jacks on the weekends just for that reason the bicycles think they own the mountain just haul ass around every blind corner and then act like we ran into them? What pisses me off is when they have headphones on and you ask how many more then it's like talking to a brick wall 😂😂 I only ride there after work and Mondays and I also ride bicycles and I don't ride jacks it's like seriously that easy there's like 10,000 mt bike trails in springs but this is the only dirtbike trail

No, not at all. He wasn't even riding that fast. In the MTB world, riders going uphill on multi direction trails have the right of way, but not if it is an idiot riding over their head on a dirtbike.
