I’m just starting to look for another bike and would like to ride on some technical stuff like this. The 300xc w seems to be the perfect bike for these types of trails. Have you ever done these trails on a 4 stroke? Tough to decide between the 300 and a 350

Buy the 300! And never look back personally I think it’s heaps better for technical riding 4 strokes run hot and boil over easier plus there’s just no comparison to the lug and power of a two stroke!

Maybe Yamaha will upgrade the YZ two strokes with an e start and a wr model

He likes it , it was a bit to tall for him so he got the lowering link think he was happy with the results the no e start is a bit of a pain but I think he likes the bike otherwise

How many hours do you have on your bike? I just bought a 2023 300 xc-w and worried as I have seen a couple with exploded pistons and rods at like 60 hours

85.5 hours and counting no issues I use all motorex oils and frequent air filter maintenance only thing I’ve done is a ccps
