I think one of the best parts of this entire story is the fact that we have a young, engineering savant (and let's face it, he is a version of a savant) that's up-and-coming who not only is said engineering savant, but he is obviously into power-sports and maybe even two strokes particularly. Now THAT is worth applause!!! 👏 Let's face it, even though we don't want to, we will all pass one day. That means AJ, Ken Sr, and the rest of the guys that are doing this. I hate to say it but it's the truth… So in my opinion, to have this young man up-and-coming, well let's face it he's already there, is a God-send to the industry. Awesome bike my first bike was a KS 125 air cooled rebuilt top end then the crank bearing went that is stellar KX 500 to much power for me I’m into the 125cc & 250cc 👊💯🤙

$19,500 actually isnt bad. Considering a used 30-40 yr old 500 can cost $10-15k, you get a brand new bike thats rare & likely wont depreciate much. Im not personally able to afford this right now, but for people that have the money & want the best 500, this is a reliable, brand new option.
