This is one of the best beginner bikes ever made. A lightweight & friendly dirtbike which teaches you the high-level skill of how to ride in the limit of grip, but at a safe 30kmph -- an impossibility to do on sportbikes. Sad to see so many unaware commenters who haven't grown up beyond specsheets. Due to such a buyer base, it's no surprise why good bikes take so long to reach India.

@@Lokxgamer 2L ex-showroom for locally manufactured KLX 230 S. Not bad for a real dual-sport, unlike the XPulse which embarrassingly weighs ~160kg. Moreover we can't really complain about the price, when we are ready to shell out stupid amounts for terrible bikes like the BMW 310RR.

now I wait for xpulse 210 and ktm 390 enduro. Power, weight, price and serviceability are main things I consider before buying. Weight and serviceability are main criteria.

it's dirt bike, Idk why y'all keep comparing a pure dual sport to an adv or to machines which are naked sports bikes with off road wheels. Everyone is missing the point that is, it's simple and fun, taks it anywhere everywhere. It's so so much light fully furled. Ktm has no chance in terms of reliability and capability this kawi takes the cake.
