I just bought the GX Premium Plus Edition, it is really a beautiful looking vehicle, much more impressive in person. Quick for a heavy vehicle, only downside is fuel economy.

@@althr321 Ride quality is excellent and very quiet at highway speeds. It is a body on frame so it has a little more of a stiffer ride, but not uncomfortable at all. I’m getting 19 mpg combined, while not great isn’t so bad I guess. Also it’s quick for a big SUV, passing is no problem for this beast!

GX 550 OverTrail + is the one I am getting...In the US ( at least state I live in) it take 5-6 months to get one

Absolutely love how this thing looks. I wish the Lexus TX looked like this since that the amount of room and versatility of that one are superior. Don’t plan to do any serious off roading other than gravel roads to campsites.

I feel the same way. I like the way the GX but will most likely get the TX given its spaciousness

This GX 550 is a beauty especially the Overtrail versions. Quality vehicle. Some dumb people will never understand that Lexus makes quality vehicles that will outlast any Range Rover or 99 percent of domestic vehicles here in North America.

Just a little correction, that traffic warning is more google then toyota, even on phone if you have the sound open, sometimes, it may give u a head up with traffic. But nothing impressive or new here, pretty standard overseas(car OS and UI integration) and google maps on phone or Android auto.

True to a gx again some weird looking angles and dimensions. They should of flattened roof line and made it more rectangular.

*Lexus GX is always the answer... but the interior here is a miss... not up to GX or Lexus standards.. sit in a LX600... that's a proper Lexus interior*

Becuase it's built by Japanese in the Tahara factory to standards that exceeded any domestic sugar coated shit vehicle here in North America. Quality materials and design make it luxury. You can go buy Range Rover or something that's supposed to be Luxury but it's creaking, cracking, electrical issues, motor issues, brake issues and the list goes on.

Depends if you have children or go off roading.. I've got 2 children in baby seats and we fit this car comfortably... 3 kids it'll be a push for space

I am deeply disappointed by this and the new LC, Like for 150k cad when all said and done at least give me a decent large, Tesla as a reference screen in the middle(if they don't wan to include a passenger screen). *Still feel bolt on rather then designed in* . And I am not even getting on the software system, UI and functionality of it all. Power is lacking too when you have tried the new breed of high and mid end Asian and Chinese cars 500kw 600hp is current. My best advice and what I am doing is wait for the 2027 new Pajero as I plan as need a large off-road capable SUV(Montero in NA, should and hope they bring it here). Meanwhile I get by with my smaller SUV. (actually the GX isn't actually that much bigger, relatively speaking, just look big still a midsize category like I have rn) _p.s. just adding: Not even mentioning the complete lack of luxury, new even old luxury styles(absolute, not even relatively)._ Dunno how this comment will go or if I expressed the lack of tech, screens, OS and system and selection in Canada enough. Let's just say if Rivian R1 is/have a range extender or a phev I have picked it up
