I own 2024 Lexus NX 450h+ f-Sport and I love it. The price people were paying for a dealer marked up RAV4 prime xse is the base price of the luxury NX 450h+.

Did you have to pay an upcharge? What is a good price I should expect to pay?

We have NX 450h+ F SPORT. since September 2022. we came from having G30, then Q50. We wanted to try something more luxurious, which meant a Lexus. My wife, if the primary driver, the thing she loves the most is not going to the gas station. Her daily commute is doable on the EV mode only. Every day she charges it overnight. Going on 10 months of ownership, we have filled up the thank maybe 3 times. We had a long road trip in this period, so it was possible that it would have needed fewer fill-ups. We now decided to only gas it to half a tank to avoid the weight of a full tank. I never heard Levinson System but would have gotten if it was available. For us, this car is working exactly as expected. We tend to keep our cars average of 10 years. Is it worth it? For it is as Toyota/Lexus quality should save us long-term money. I would never consider a European car if you trying to save money.

The Levinson Sound system is sensational, I also wanted it on my 450h+.

@bradfalon6976 I can only compare to my daily and weekend driver, a Prius and s2000, and the ex Q50. On EV Mode, it is silent quiet, like when your house has double-pane windows quiet 😂. Even though it is the F sport, the ride is quite lovely versus a jittery Q50 sports sedan. I expected this; we wanted a more comfortable ride. I have to say in hybrid-only mode; there is some harshness as the 4-cylinder power train is not as smooth as a v6. Giving up that torque and smoothness of the V6 for excellent gas mileage is worth it to us at this point.

For 2025, they added the Mark Levinson stereo as an option on the 450h+ but not the F sport version…getting closer…
@beri232 Жыл бұрын
Not putting the Mark Levinson system in the F Sport model was foolish on Lexus' part. Bad enough we don't get a pano moonroof but to yank the ML out of this model was just dumb! They should call it an F Sport 1 package..... not a 3.
@MGReviewsBlog Жыл бұрын
What they need to do is offer a package between the base and this fully loaded model. (at least for the Canadian market) For us, there's the base and then the price jumps by over $16,000 to the F-sport 3 package. There's needs to be something in the middle.

The problem is you need to wait 2 years to get it.

I know. That's the sucky part. They can't make them fast enough. But from what I hear, some potential owners who are in the waitlist might get tired of waiting and they'll buy something else. That's what happened with a friend of mine on a different car. Was told a 6 month wait but someone cancelled their order and the car still arrived and my friend managed to get the car in 2 months.

Sorry,I think advising people to go with Volvo is a bad idea,knowing how badly Volvos depreciate.
@MGReviewsBlog10 ай бұрын
I know that the Volvo would depreciate more than this Lexus but I personally can't justify paying almost $80,000 CAD for a car this size. The Volvo just seems like better value to me at this price point.

Then the Luxury seats are comfortable but again, the sound system. tires & wheels and the most unacceptable part is the suspension on the Luxury is junk in regards to the amount of 304hp the NX Luxury suspension can’t handle that power… That’s my review for this Wannabe German Sport SUV, is just a Toyota with a better dress design 👗

@@donaldbanner2185 LOL! It's clear you have no experience with an EV. I currently drive an EV, and when my lease is up, I will be going with another EV. I have never been "STRESSED / worrying about where to charge." I've never had to turn off the climate control because of range issues. Also, modern EVs don't come close to taking "3 hours" to charge via DC fast charging (more like 20-40 minutes). Home charging is certainly slower, but that's something you let run overnight while you sleep, and then you come out to a full tank in the morning.

You will get rip off if you make the mistake to get this WAY WAY OVERPRICED SUV, get a RAV4, sounds way way better, more stiff suspension , way way more comfortable seats, way cheaper and WAY WAY LESS devaluation
@BeefJerky9999 Жыл бұрын
Why would I want a "more stiff suspension?" This is an SUV, not a sports car, and I want comfort. That means the suspension should absorb the imperfections in the road. This is the reason why the Mach-E is off my list; the suspension is obnoxious, and you feel everything in the road. You have to upgrade to the GT PE version to get magnaride, which brings you to luxury car pricing; no thanks. Finally, claiming a Toyota has more comfortable seats than the Lexus version is hilarious.
@MGReviewsBlog Жыл бұрын
I don't mind having stiff suspension in a sports car but not in a family crossover SUV. Yes, the Rav4 is cheaper than this and that's because the Rav4 doesn't have the same cabin materials or refinement to make the cabin more isolated from the exterior environment. I agree that this specific demo car that I reviewed is a little on the expensive side with all the options when compared to something like the XC60 T8 but the base model is good value for money compared to other luxury crossover SUVs.
@badongtagalog5737 Жыл бұрын
Tell that to the marines dude😂. If you want stiff suspension why not buy a go cart. Its doesnt have suspension so ride should be so stiff😂
@addanametocontinue6 ай бұрын
I've watched a lot of reviews and not once has anybody stated that the RAV4 seats feel better than the NX. It also wouldn't make any sense. The reason why the NX is pricier is because Lexus adds extra stuff to it to make it more comfortable. That's what the premium is: you're paying for extra comfort and luxury.
