RCF does not have a 2 door version of the IS platform. I have both 2019 IS350 F-Sport and a 2016 RCF CF/TVD and they both are completely different platforms with RCF having a high performance platform. RCF base RC chassis was completely developed separately on the concept of very high rigidity and shorter wheelbase than the IS for more faster direction changes. The RCF platform is used in the RCF GT3 racing car. If the paddle shifter are slow, that means your are in the grandma mode. You need to configure it for max attack. Paddle shifters shift lightning fast when it is in SPORT+ mode with Manual mode and going to redline.

Nothing dated about a car that has its own look, not even the V6 RC look like it. Mine is almost 10 years old and people are stunned to even know its age. This isn’t for people that don’t know the Fuji/Flagship meaning. I’d trade up to a Track in a heart beat if I could.

A great GT with a super reliable NA V8 which will still perform well after 200k miles unlike BMW

Fastest Lexus around a track sans the LFA. Remember Lexus hasnt done something like this component and performance-oriented in a specifc track spec since the LFA N-Package. Severely underrated and let me tell you its simply the pinnacle of the RCF platform. The trans needs to warm up and it comes truly alive in Sports + Mode and you have to ring it out it doesnt like not revving if you cant rev it better to use Auto mode. This is a F car thus its designed to be a GT and they take to the track and have zero worries of issues. Love this spec!! As stated the car is not called the IS COUPE because it took a completely different direction when they where designing the chassis at the time. The ISC part of the chassis was placed because there was supposed to be a convertible option to the RC that never made it to production. At the time this chassis was the stiffest chassis made from them. Love this spec!!

Alcantara is great for the track but for daily use causes static in winter, attracts dust, absorbs sweat, and looks ratty after 2 years.

I bought a 2015 rc f in Dec and I adore that car so gorgeous and fun plenty fast 4 me no room to gallop anyway no regrets worth every cent

Why does this myth of useless rear seats being for "insurance purposes" still exist? Do you really think that we can fool insurance companies by putting rear seats into the vehicle? I promise you that the calculation that goes into insurance premiums is so much more sophisticated than "does it have only two seats?" that this is as foolish to claim as saying something like "Red cars have higher insurance rates because they are more sporty" (which I have also heard and makes zero sense).

Imagine your F performance car getting smoked by an m340i or model 3 performance or ioniq5 N or EV6 GT

Engine is nice, handles ok, transmission really is a major letdown, nice cruiser but not a real sports car
