This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2024 Lincoln Navigator, full-size body-on-frame SUV. The 2024 Lincoln Navigator is a body-on-frame SUV with standard full-time four-wheel drive. It’s powered by a twin-turbo 3.5L V6 matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission, 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. It can tow up to 8300 pounds.
There is just one 2024 Lincoln Navigator trim in Canada, it starts at $120,995 CAD. Three trims are available in the US, Premier $82,765 USD, Reserve $95,325 USD and Black Label $110,750 USD.
The 2024 Lincoln Navigator is huge with seating for up to 8-people. A bench seat and captain’s chairs with or without the centre console in the second row are available. There’s a variety of different colour options with wood trim at the centre console and door panels. The comfort level in the cabin is next level with standard 24-way heated and ventilated front leather seats with memory and available massage seats in the front and second rows.
The cabin of the 2024 Lincoln Navigator has a standard 13.2” touchscreen with SYNC 4, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 12” LCD instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, head-up display, wireless charger, heated steering wheel, a 14-speaker Revel audio system, panoramic sunroof with shade, a power liftgate, Lincoln Co-pilot 360 2.0 and Blue Cruise 1.0.
Although the 2024 Lincoln Navigator is a spacious, comfortable and powerful family hauler, the fuel economy is not great, 15L/100 km, 16 MPG city and 11L/100 km, 22 MPG highway.
The 2024 Lincoln Navigator gets 9.6” of ground clearance and comes standard with a bright chrome surround grille, available Lincoln lit star in the grille, standard power running boards, a dual exhaust system, 22” wheels and an 18” temporary spare tire. In the US, 20” wheels are standard.

We just bought a 2020 Reserve model with 33000 miles. Traded in a 2006 GMC Yukon Denali which I put almost 200,000 miles on. Previously had a Suburban and Tahoe so switching to a Ford brand was a big deal for us. I'm still getting used to it, but I felt the Navigator just seemed more advanced than even the 2021 and newer GMC full size rigs-except for the Escalade. We fully intended on getting another GM. We still do a lot of trips with our adult kids and their friends, so the third row room was a big deal. All in all, we are very happy with it, though it does drive "big", even with a great turning radius. We've taken a few long drives and that`s where it shines. The gas mileage is better than my old truck. I love the interior-and the massage seats as I have a bad back. Keep up the great work!

Monster vehicle, hhahah this is just a brokie car compared to true luxury brands like Audi and Porsche, or even bmw. Just save yourself 30k and get a 150k Audi q7 or a 90k Porsche cayenne, or even a bmw x7 100k. I currently drive a 2022 matte black m5 and a cumulus blue cayenne s hybrid 2024 and hate to see people would go to Lincoln or Cadillac for a luxury vehicle . Just the looks of a x7 or q7 win over a dumb Lincoln hahah 😂

At my age , driver seat easy to get into and out off very smooth and quiet and nice to be the big guy on road. Hundreds around and cheap and never short of parts and very reliable. We absolutely love our Navigator!….we don’t have experience with the 24-way seats but the upgrade 30-way seats are fantastic with heat/cool and massage….we have driven 16 hours straight and found them super comfortable. We also think this is the best looking large body-on-frame Ute out there, exterior AND interior. We do agree that the price has skyrocketed but ya……Zack is right, air suspension should at least be offered…KUTGW GUYS.🇨🇦

Had good reliability on our 2020 Black Label L and bought a 2024 Black Label L this time around and no problems yet. Didn't want to wait for the redesign. I feel like it rides a touch better in the 2024 with the predictive adjusting suspension but it's still a bit rough around town on choppy pavement versus the competition.

Well, I have no idea if my opinion counts for anything but I have a 1999 Navigator 4x4 with the 5.4 DOHC and it's steering is not vague by any means, it's a beast that can tow upwards of 8500, lbs. Sadly it doesn't have the HP or the torque this new one has and I'm sure it doesn't get as good gas mileage (12/15 for mine and it's still in that range even for its age). It's responsive in steering and handling and I went air ride delete as I didn't want to deal with the headache of restoring that system and maintaining it but even with coil overs it still rides pretty good. It's smoother than the F150 it's based on but rougher than had I restored and kept it's air ride. I'm not sure my opinion on all the electronics on the new Navigators, mines got some bells and whistles like a telephone but its a bit primitive compared to this one. I will take my older one any day of the week though for practicality if nothing else. Oh yea the seats suck in mine too 😂 must be a 'Gator thing.

I think it’s biggest competition is itself. A Lincoln buyer already (probably?) has an affinity towards Ford products. So, I’d imagine that it’s biggest target audience would be those who might be shopping it against a Ford Expedition Limited (Platinum/Timberline or King Ranch). I think most shoppers would be the ‘GM vs. Ford’ kinda folks. I surprisingly think that the new Grand Wagoneer would be considered, even before the Cadillac. Which one… for around $120,000, would ‘I’ consider??? Simple. A Range Rover… all day long… everyday. The Best 4x4xFar! Thanks for the video.

Regarding dependability: The Lincoln sales person would say “JD power ranks Lincoln better than VW, Audi, and Tesla. Not that big a deal.

Thorough review as always but this one feels as though you're sure you don't like it but can't quite put your finger on it. The drivers side was comfortable but not the passenger? Come on, that makes no sense. They're the most precision seats on the market. And the Jeep makes your list? Come on, that's an unreliable hunk of junk.

When a manufacturer gets lazy. Introducing the Lazy Lincoln Navigator. New QX80 blows this out of the water!

Both models exist on truck platforms that have a slightly revised body plopped on top. Cheap to make, can sell for a pretty price, and they have status on the street. Neither manufacturer is being lazy. Most of their owners are brand loyal, "better" does not matter if it's not the preferred make.

I’d say it’s a dated luxury, isn’t worth the price

Nope. I'd rather take my chances on one of the new Hyundai SUVs.

Just don’t like the look of this thing. I love my Infiniti QX80! The 2025 Infiniti QX80 looks way better to me…2nd in this category would be the Lexus LX600. Love the Escalade but just too expensive.

Haha, infinity, Escalade and navigator are not even in the same league with the BMW X7. You may need to compare them Kia or Hyundai, but not BMW.
