Would you order your Mach-E in Eruption Green? What do you think about the Bronze Package?

As the owner of a dark green Mustang, I like the fact that green is back in the color palette! I'm also glad that they did something new instead of leaning on Dark Highland Green (Bullitt), because the Mach-E should be entitled to make its own mark on things. The Bronze appearance package looks really good with the green. and is much better than the blacked-out Nite Pony treatment IMO.

This color is the reason to get a Mach-E, it already looks great on the Bronco and Mach-1! I hope the HVBJB (high voltage battery junction box) and the 5 second power cut issues has been resolved for this year. Lets gooo, Ford!

Hey Patrick, I wanted to say thank you watching your videos for the past. I think since about like September of last year you pushed me to buy and brand new premium. I just got it 2 days ago so thank you. I'm still it hasn't set in yet. I mean the power is great. A license electrician for the state of Texas so I put me a home charger in. Clean the garage up you know but I wanted to thank you guys. I've decided to go with the premium because I wanted the sunroof. I also like the GT but to me it look like the GT lost range to compensate for the power plus from 3.6 to seconds to 4.0 seconds isn't a drastic change I also just learned today that I don't have to kick to open option. Apparently they ran out of chips for the 2022 so for the 2023 they just removed that feature. Well I seen your video and I'm going to add the sensor to mines I'm also going to do some changes to it. I'll take some standard pictures before I do the changes. That way you can see the difference. But thanks again and have fun!

I think eruption green is gorgeous. I love my 2023 CR1, so no plans on replacing it anytime soon, bit I hope to see this gorgeous car on the road.

Not yet. I hear the roll out was paused while they worked out some issues but we're still hoping we get it in a a few weeks.

I really like those wheels, wonder if they'd go with my grabber blue. Shame they did the bronze side badge but still didn't give it a GT version. You didn't get a inside shot, is the GTPE interior now the standard with the changes?

When I saw the video title, I wanted so much to hear more about the 2024 changes for any new morsels we haven't heard elsewhere. I guess we'll have to wait for those, but I think it's a good idea to condense the GTPE features into the GT, as there wasn't a good reason to have both trim levels and the GTPE wasn't hardcore enough to warrant the moniker. Features I'm anxious to hear about: - NACS on 2024 or 2025? - Heat pump - 2024, 2025, never? - "Ford Digital Experience" aka Android Automotive - 2024, 2025, never?

NACS won't be on any 2024 Fords -- or any other manufacturer other than Tesla. Heat pump - nope. Not until the Mach-E gets refreshed. They put on on the Lightning this year. Ford Digital Experience will have to wait for a refresh as well. The processor, memory, and storage have to be upgraded.

I'm an absolute sucker for green cars, and this might be my favorite green ever. Unfortunately, our Rivian is already green, and while we're likely to replace our Mach-E first, I don't think my spouse would let me get away with two green cars, especially as the Mach-E is her primary vehicle.

@@MachE_VLOG Rapid Red. The one we got. She has always wanted a yellow car, but Cyber Orange just wasn't the right shade for her taste. She would have accepted Grabber Blue, too; but that might have caused problems since her sister had a Grabber Blue Mach-E already. Plus we were looking for a cheap one, and Rapid Red was the only "not black/white/gray" available on the Select. (Both of our households are Rivian R1T+Mach-E households. Her sister had her Mach-E before us, we had our Rivian before them. Although her sister already has over 100,000 miles on her Mach-E! And has never DC charged it!)

so basically I paid $5000 for a performance pkg. last month on my 23, that is now going to be standard on the 24 GT....Great. Does that new pkg. that replaces dark pony pkg. come with only summer tires like mine did? all season were only available without pony pkg.+ performance pkg. which not even my dealer knew, being from Michigan, guess who ended up buying tires right away.

I haven't heard of any Ford charging issues bricking a Mach-E or F-150 Lightning. There was one guy that had a surge of power at an EA station and it popped the fuse on the truck.

You can't even shop or order 2024 Mach-E. They only show 2023.

I think it is because you can claim a tax credit on 2023 Mach-Es. There are some 2024s showing up in the system now, but the ordering is not open yet.

Its kind of sad that they refuse to refresh this car. More affordable vehicles are coming from other manufacturers. Mach-E will be left out in the cold without a refresh and a price drop.

If you look at the competitors - Model Y, ID.4, EV6, Ioniq 5, Q4 Etron, etc., none of them have been refreshed yet and the Mach-E is still competitive.

​@@MachE_VLOG EV6 and Ioniq 5 are two years younger and got high performance models. Rumors say that Model Y gets its refresh this year in 2024. The Audi is also the same age as as the E-GMP triplets. This year a number of affordable options and competition will arrive and time is running out for Ford to respond. This should have been refreshed this year.

Warning! Ford will remove features and deceive you to purchase by saying it's a chip shortage, and as soon as the supplies are in, we will contact you to have them installed. This happened to me. My 22 Mach-E GT doesn't have the self parking or the kick tailgate features. I also never received the BlueCruise lane change as promised. Make sure all features are working before talking delivery. Don't be like me!

The 2022s never had the handsfree tailgate (kick motion to open). They removed the feature after the 2021 model year. Automated lane changes also didn't ship with any model prior to the 2023s. The OTA for the 2022 and 2021 models should be coming soon.

@@graham2890 These options where in my build and I was told because of the chip shortage it would not be available until chips supplies came in. This was at the delivery of the car. Also the self parking feature doesn't work.

When will they release the 2024 Mach-E GT Performance Edition, I was thinking about getting the 2023 but on second thought if things are chaning than I might as well wait for the 2024 Tesla Model 3 " Ludacris" or in somewhat its called. I love both cars but as far as performance the tesla is definetly better, if there arent signficant changes in speed I will have to go with the faster tesla.

You can skip the bronze - it is an option package. They will be releasing all of the details and spec for 2024 soon. I think they are using the 2023s as long as possible because they get a partial tax credit.

They just had a fantastic month in December. January dropped off because of the tax credit changes, but Ford is now working to offset that with dealer cashback.

@@MachE_VLOG I hope it works, but I'm not going to hold my breath. As long as the Model Y can be had for less money, the Mach E is going to struggle. It's too bad because from everything I've seen, it's a pretty good EV.

@@treads2595 The Mach-E is great but it is easy to see why they are selling a lot of Model Ys. Ford doesn't need to compete with them on volume to do well. And I think there is still a good market for the Mach-E because of its unique styling, good quality, and appeal to people that don't want a sparse interior.

I guess I disagree with you on the Mach Es chances as there wouldn’t be so many of them sitting unsold if there was great demand for the car. And I don’t see anything that’s going to make people all of a sudden run out and buy it.
