@@Ghost-jy9hk maybe with Ford? 90% of the time taking my BMW in is pleasant. never had to schedule an appointment more than 2 days out. when I get there, my car is received and condition is recorded, service advisor goes over any issues to be fixed and gives a quote that they've never gone over. I get a free loaner that's usually the base engine, but new cars (I've had 330i convertible, X2, X3, X5). Then I just get a call to pick it up. It's more expensive than non-premium brands, but never a "nightmare" and the one unpleasant time was when they scuffed the wrap on my car, but they did mail me a check to re-wrap without even getting an estimate to reimburse. That said, I did have a Chrysler car for work and that was unpleasant 100% of the time and about 50% nightmare (as in paying for a new transmission up front, that wasn't ready to install after 1, then 2, then 3 months, at which point I took my money back and exchanged for a different car at work).

I bought the 2023 GT last week. I couldn't pass up the deals they have right now. So far, I'm in love with this car! I test drove a few different models, but ended up with this one. Yes, the range on the GT is only mediocre, but the performance is great, I don't take road trips, can level 2 charge at home, and my typical daily routine consists of less than 40 miles of driving. Still have a gas car anyway if needed. It seemed like the perfect fit for me as a daily driver. What I really liked about the Mach-E vs say, the Kia EV6, is that I really like the tech that Ford put in it. I also like that massive center screen like a Tesla has... awesome for GPS, etc. BUT it also has a screen right in front of the driver, which the Tesla does NOT have! It also feels very spacious inside, they did a great job of using the space where the usually a transmission tunnel for useful storage. Seats are pretty comfy too. The car looks better than the competition too IMO. Just a really solid, well thought out crossover. It's not a Mustang, but it's a good EV.

I have a 2021 Mach E and it's a fantastic car. I have the CA Route 1 trim and I was surprised how efficient the car was. In 50/50 driving I routinely got 330-340 miles on a full charge. Interior is top notch and high quality. The infotainment was initially slow but after several updates it's faster. There's still some lag, but now reduced. Agreed with the suspension: you'll either love it or hate it. It is stiff and sporty.

I've had mine (premium, standard range & rear wheel drive) for almost 2 years and have driven over 40,000 miles. I love it so much. I agree that its good in most areas but I think there are few some small things that are a huge plus for it (and other Ford vehicles) mainly plug and charge and its route planner. Once I get that Tesla adapter I'll finally be able to charge at full speeds in my town and where I work. And Plug & Charge works at Tesla Superchargers so I won't have to download another app. I've had to take mine to the dealership to get two front parking senors replaced and 3 out of 4 door motors that open the doors replaced. Other than that, I haven't had any issues. The seats are holding up okay, the frunk is still nice to use, the OEM tires have lastest a long time, and it is fun to drive. You can throw the rear end around which puts a smile on my face everytime. I personally love the lack of a door handle and think Ford did a great job designing them. The Lyric was clearly inspired by the Mustang Mach-E's doors but it wasn't as fluid a motion on the front doors. Later this year I will be getting the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition's rims/wheels and some Hankook tires to put on mine. I don't feel limited with the 225 width tires but the extra grip will be nice and I think it'll look better with some wider tires.

@kingcrimson234 not a concern for me. I already don't fast charge a lot. Plus it doesn't seem it's as hard on a battery as initially thought. Not great for the battery but not battery killing, so I'm not worried about it.

Just to add my own experience: I have a 2022 Mach-E GT and I put around 15k miles on it in a year (currently at 18k). It is the only car that my wife and I own/drive. I live in the suburbs of Seattle and commute downtown a few times a week for work (~10 miles each way). My family lives down near Portland so we do trips down there around 10 times a year. I've done some other trips around Washington state which gets us up to that 15k in a year mark. I love the car but I have some complaints about it: the battery contacts' design limits the charging speeds to about half of that of other similar cars (EV6 GT or Model-Y) where we get around 95kw peak where they're getting 175kw+. I also hate the suspension: it's too stiff when going over bumps, leaving rear seat passengers in the air over speed bumps. My last complaint about it is the heater. Similarly to the charging performance, other vehicles in this category have heat pumps where the Mach-E has a resistive heater, causing us to lose around 35% of our range in the winter. For example, at ~70mph on the freeway in the summer, I'll go ~250 miles where in the winter, we can be down around 180.

I think there's a trend of softer suspensions for eevee's, I believe new model 3 and late model bolts. Heated back seats would be nice if you use them a lot. My 23 Bolt EV has a softer ride, but cornering suffers a little. I don't use heat much, Southern California. Mostly use seat & steering wheel heat, glad I opted for it.

Traded in a 2022 Kia Ev 6 for a 2023 Mach E California Route 1 and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The technology in the Mach E is light years ahead of what’s in the EV 6 and I won’t end up paying $30 a month for basic connected functions like phone as a key, remote starting, navigation, plug and charge, etc. a year from now as Ford seems genuinely committed to keeping those features free unlike Kia. The one thing I thought I’d miss was the insane charge curve of the EV 6 but in all the road trips I’ve done since trading it for the Mach E it just hasn’t been an issue and plug and charge has been an absolute god send versus dealing with either the EA or Tesla app.

Both the ModelY and MachE have coming refresh models in the next year... that will be a much better competition, but the Tesla should still be better option, depending on price/what you value, mostly for... software and tech. If you like bit more buttons/controls? Ford... But overall, ModelY should have better range, notably cheaper, faster charging, better software&other tech, etc... The MachE is solid, but... as for most everything vs Tesla, it's the software, software,software... the Ford infotainment UI and especially app usability is,... somewhat painful. Tesla is just super-slick and frictionless for nearly everything, intuitive, fast, glitch-free, lots of features, frequent updates (every 21days typically, major features added few times a year.) MachE UI... not as much. Lots of submenus, wordy option screens, many steps/hidden ways to get to simple things (charge limits/power when you plug in??), sometimes glitchy android auto etc, map buried under other screens,... vs Tesla, just pops things up right where&when you need it. Mapping/routing also... tesla app also much better. I could never tell when/if the MachE was actually locked in the app... Tesla app icon IS the status display (shows locked or unlocked). Lots of things were just frustrating/confusing for me in Ford UI, even as an experienced EV / tech owner... given EVs are often computers on wheels, you REALLY want that software and usability to be the best you can get.

First of all it’s Ford , it’s not known as a good brand , and it’s not cheap either, that’s the reason why the sales are dropping 53 percent, that is not good . On the other hand, Tesla is the gold standard of EV cars , that’s what they’re all about, they don’t build anything but EV unlike the other companies starting converting their vehicles from ICE to EV

18,000 miles after two years? That is not a long term test. You expect us to believe what you said about range and charging? This doesn’t match what people say about EV’s in the cold, or if you use the AC or heat, or charging stations that don’t work. Mustang Mach-E are available everywhere because nobody wants them.😊

First off, it doesn't deserve to have the Mustang label. Second, I was at my local Ford dealership yesterday and the sticker price on the Mach Es is $60,000 and despite what you said in this video, NO markup is justified. Next to the Mach Es, the real Mustangs had a sticker price of $57,000. So, Ford is being stupid with having prices be that high for both models. If Ford gets back to being sensible and brings back the full-size Taurus sedan as a PHEV or BEV, then they will have a winner on their hands. Unlike this monstrosity.

They managed to make it one of the most slow selling electric cars on the market. When I was in the market for one, being a Mustang driver, I didn’t even look at this.
