It's a shame that they remove the touchpad, apart from the fact that you could switch between views, music and browser, you could keep your central screen clean without fingerprints, and using the rudder buttons that are complicated does not seem a success to me. It's a real shame.

I currently have a 2019 Lincoln MKZ that I may consider trading in come Spring. This vehicle is absolutely stunning and really sparking my interest. The only negative feedback I have is for that odd, plastic tray in the middle. What on earth is that there for??? It’s in such an awkward spot and looks as if that’s where the cupholders should be. I have no idea what you would even put in there/use that for and it looks like something that’s unfinished.

its amazing how Mercedes can get away with not having a button to close the truck for the money you spend, I felt so bad when I pulled up on my friend in a kia and they had so much tec. on there car compared to my Mercedes, and they paid less then half for it SMDH

Do you think in this new version there's buttons to directly skip track (fast forward) when you're playing music?

In Apple CarPlay there are on the screen, or within the MBUX menu there is a pop up from the bottom as well, and I believe there is one as well in the middle of the instrument panel

As soon as there will be a test car! But I spoke to some customers which already have new 35 AMG and they said it is now much better from low rpms, so I expect improved outcome. Let's see

Is Multibeam LED really that much better than in the old CLA? Whats the difference exactly?

Yes, much better. Pre facelift 18 LEDs, now 84 LEDs. Much more precise in terms of where light can me dimmed for the other cars in traffic

I have a cla 35 in white and it looks amazing, complements the black details of the car. I'd say if the car you are looking at has a lot of black details then go for white

Looks like "polar white" (default paint)

Polar white, costs about 330 in Europe. Night black is for free. Metallic costs 900, patagonia red 1200 and mountaingrey magno 2600

My opinion on new facelift version: - steering wheel with captive buttons - no touchpad/trackpack!! WHY - less LED in rearlights - still not electronic close on trunk, not even option for it. - rear seat passengers now have just 1 USB charging port instead of 2 and no storage space along with it + way better headlights with presumably better adaptive high beams + better fidelity and presumably fluidity of the new MBUX system +/- new front bumper design that is hit or miss, for me, I like the old one better this one looks more electric conclusion: better stick with the old CLA! You compare 2 models, both of them doesnt have electric close on trunk so it can not be minus :D I like the new rearlights more, but i suppose you can place there the old ones on mechanic if you like. Steering wheel and trackpad i agree. (I suppose you can mount old steering wheel as well) Facelift has also other improvements: mild hybrid, 8 gear box, optional aeroimproved rims TBH i think like we are missing true CLC 4 door coupe

i agree with you but i like the old daylights way more... overall the old one is the better car in my opinion... the only thing to argue is maybe that the multi beam lights improved... but im happy with the old ones aswell..

I dont think that the design is "improved"... The grile is new, i like the older one more, i also like the old daylights more... The Front Bump er actually nearly looks like the CLA AMG C117 from 2017.. It is bascially just a mix of already existing Models. For me the old one has more charakter...

@adidkjf I think I've read an article where some from the Mercedes managers said that future next gen CLA will be electric platform and on this platform combustion versions will also be made. But I can't remember where I've read it. I think it is too soon right know to do only EV CLA.
