Funny how all these prospects grew up watching Curry, KD, had all these training resources on the internet, everyone was supposed to be so much more skilled and great shooters. Players aren't coming in dominating like Kevin Love, Beasley, Mayo, Durant, Tyreke Evans, etc.

its just one bad class man, the last several drafts have been awesome. this feels a little like nostalgia, not only are there a significant amount of awesome young players, but players in the next classes like cooper flagg and boozer are also coming as well@@ThreadAndCircuses1

Thank you for not joining the holland bandwagon of hate. People are treating him like he’s supposed to be a wired scorer that has been inefficient. No one has scouted him in high school is what it seems like. You’re right he was an undersized energy and defense power forward. And now he’s being asked to be a primary scorer from the wing position that can create his own shot. The fact that he has been able to do it all, screw the efficiency, is very impressive. Because I think once he gets to the nba he will never be asked to hold this role as a number 1 or 2 scorer, but the fact that he is working on it now makes it so he won’t look stupid if he catches a late shot clock grenade. Him making all these difficult shots is going to help him make the easy catch and shoots that nba teams will want out of him. Remember, all the best shooters, even catch and shoot primarily, practice tough shots which makes the easy shots even easier. I would still draft him as a motor and defense guy that can now be pretty reliable on catch and shoots as opposed to the pure slasher he was in high school
@chrisshergie103011 ай бұрын
the bandwagon of hate simply moved him away from a top 5 pick to the mid 1st round...if he cant be a top 1 or 2 scorer, where else would you draft him? exactly what you said about him IS the hate...its just the reality hes not the top pick in the draft. seems like you had him scouted properly from the beginning, fools are realizing they didnt. but nobody is even saying he will move out of the 1st round. same thing with collier

@@chrisshergie1030 I wasn't comparing the two style of play. I'm aware they play different games. My statements geared towards neither of them having a defined position going into the pros out of college. Neither of them could decide if they want to develop into a 2 primary or 3 primary. To many I see an Ausar/Amen Thompson type of hybrid archetype. Steaky shooting slasher.

QUESTION: How do you see NIL’s helping to keep talent on campus and out of the draft where they can develop the central focus of their own teams while still making money from their talent? … considering examples like Desmond Bane and Jaime Jacquez’s ability to enter the NBA and make an immediate impact could make staying in college the solution to setting themselves for long professional careers now that they can start their professional careers in college.

Great stuff. Best coverage on youtube or anywhere imo. Since talking hoops isn't fun unless their's a debate I gotta throw mine out there! Baylor Scheierman being outside of the top 60 is a big mistake IMO. I know he's an older guy but in this draft class you gotta just find guys who can play. Baylor will have a 10 year NBA career I think. Wing with decent size and athleticism. Gets up an huge amount of 3's and makes them at a near 40% clip. I think volume is an underrated part of the evaluation. If he was taking half as many as he is now it would still be good volume and his efficiency would be even higher that's extremely valuable. In addition he's been a mid 50% guy from 2 his whole career so he's not just a specialist. He'll have an overall efficient scoring package. He averages 8 boards a game and that's with a good Center so that's impressive. 4 Assists per game as well which shows at the NBA level he at minimum will be a great connective piece even if he won't be running wing pick and rolls (although I think he could in second units). Just an overall really helpful winning player that I think should be strongly considered at the end of the first round or early second.

Why aren't Caleb Love and RJ Davis even on the honorable mentions list? I'm genuinely curious what the reasons why their less intriguing prospects than other guys who were in the top 60. I get that Caleb Love isn't efficient, but he's still the primary scorer on a super successful team, just like RJ Davis, who has actually been pretty efficient this year. The fact that Holland’s playing a new style for the first time as an 18 year old in 2nd best league in the world is unreal. Furthermore, his set shot looks really good as of late. His inefficiency stems partly from Ignite’s injuries and the lack of playmaking surrounding him. His inexperience also plays a role, but I’m more confident in Holland reaching his ceiling than any of the top 9 prospects on my board.

KZbinrs have got to stop embellishing heights. Sheppard and Wagner are 6'2" and Dillingham is 6'1". The inch matters. Since they don't have great length and are tiny they won't start at the next level for good teams so mocking them in the lottery makes no sense. Also, where the hell is 6'10" Baye Ndongo? He looks like JJJ 2.0. Where the hell is 6'8" Mackenzie Mgbako? Where is Juan Nunez? Where is 7' Hansen Yang? Where's 7'2" Ivisic? Riley Kugel? AJ Johnson. Trentyn Flowers? You have to really do your research if you want to be taken seriously. I DO enjoy your videos though. It's nice seeing actual footage and some measurements and DOB even if they're sometimes off by an inch or more. Carrington is a lottery talent btw. Bronny James will ONLY be drafted by a team in the hopes that him and Lebron are a package deal. Realistically he wouldn’t even be a UDFA but I can see a team taking a late first round pick on him just because it means you’ll get Lebron too. Kid is just not good enough to play in the league. No hate but the man is averaging 5ppg on terrible efficiency. The last 3 games he’s played over 20 minutes and scored 0 points in all of them. Dude is a low level Mid-Major player at best.
