I use regular plates if it’s 12 people or less and paper plates for larger gatherings of over 12, I tend to be a bit frugal when it comes to paper plates or any paper product- if I can wash and clean it then that’s always m go to, but I also do not want to be a slave at the sink when everyone leaves (no dishwasher other than my own hands). Like you, I use the stainless steel cleaner once a week and use my homemade citrus/vinegar cleaner for everything daily and for deep cleaning. All the beds get flipped and cleaned under every May and October- here in CO those months are just as it warms up to leave windows and doors open and just cool enough to leave the windows and doors open to air out the entire room before the hotter and colder months- and as much as I am a deep cleaner weekly, what accumulates underneath the beds is amazing! When my kids were at home, I had a laundry cart like yours but with separate sections in it and it was wonderful. My youngest daughter has 5 children and they had small baskets in each room that would get dumped in the laundry room causing mountains of dirty laundry; we gifted her 3 laundry carts with 3 sections each and she painted each section with cloth paint indicating the colors on 1 of them, then the other has jeans and sports clothes on it and then the 3rd has sheets and towels on the other, it has helped with the laundry chaos when they were younger, as they all got old enough they did their own laundry in a designated day of the week and she did her and her husbands clothes on Saturdays and sheets and towels on Sundays, even with just 3 boys left at home her laundry room is busy every day. I love indoor/outdoor area rugs because i can take them out and hose them down during the warm months and they are easier to lift to clean accidents (i place a bowl or bucket under the affected area of the rug and pour the washing water from the top to push the dirty stuff through the material and give a good rinse then use my carpet cleaner to give a last good clean

I love how your baby dog follows you around. We have a mini golden doodle who is almost 2 and only weighs 13 lbs. he’s worst then a kid, he is always by my side and If he thinks I’m going any where he will start pulling my hair. We use paper plates every night, so much easier, for company if just depends what we are having and who it is.

Animals tend to always get sick or have accidents on carpeted areas because it most mimics grass. Also, why don't you put your barstools bottom seat part on the countertop and the legs in the air? Then they can be off the ground for the vacuum but the legs aren't on the countertop. Just a thought. But yes, animals find comfort in carpet for that one reason, it's the closest thing to grass to them ❤.

Now I've got to give my apartment a good cleaning! 😂 I live alone, so I usually use my Corelle dishes, but sometimes I use paper plates. Yes to flipping your rugs over. I did this for the first time at my old house. I vacuumed my rug.. then slow vacuumed right side up. I thought my rug was clean. I was not prepared. I flipped my rug over and vacuumed upside down. It looked like someone walked on my floor in dirty shoes. All the dirt and sand and whatever came out of the rug and landed on the floor.

Cambriea, I think it would be a good challenge for you, and fun videos for us to watch you follow different cleaning routines. Like, see if you could strictly follow Fly Lady for two weeks, or follow a 1950's house keeping routine for a week, or see how you would fare using a cleaning app. I think it would be fun to watch because you're more of a "free range" cleaner and focus on certain areas as needed, and don't use a schedule. Might be fun content to try.

When I clean my stainless steel with multi purpose cleaner it always looks so streaky afterwards so I always have to go over it with a stainless steel polisher. I just wonder if it's the cleaner I'm using perhaps. I'm so sorry for the loss of y'all's furbaby. Drake was so sweet.😢

as a condo/house cleaner you can use pledge on stainless as well..weird I know but it works for me😊. And we have the same fridge as you and I was wondering in the long tray.. I had steak bleed and dripped into the plastic top the tray and I can NOT get it out..there's no way to get in there...have you found a way??😢 and yes we use paper plates alot..there's 4 of us here and I only have one set of 16 dishes on purpose😂. I'm very frugal when it comes to clutter. And tp also puts out alot of dust...I've noticed in both our bathrooms. Cabinet looks so awesome...my oka kitchen cabinets took 4 coats of white primer paint as well..

Hi Cambriea, Yes, to your question about paper plates. Depending on what we eat, paper plates are a staple😅. Also, many years ago, I had a swamp cooler in the living room window, and I used to put Downey fabric softener in the bottom, and it made the whole house smell so good. Anyway, thank you for the motivation, and now I'm off to cleaning...oh, and the cabinet looks great! See u you in the next one❤❤

Great motivation! It's just me, so I use china, silver plate flatware and glass on a cloth tablecloth. It makes me happy to have a pretty place setting. I always try to clean as I go when preparing meals so that when I sit down, everything but my place setting is washed and put away. Don't have a dishwasher and despise dirty dishes on the counter or in the sink. I like everything neat and in order before I go to bed. Enjoy waking up to order.😊 Dust bunnies rule in my house.🙄 I struggle with the new vacuums being so heavy. Trying to find something lightweight, yet powerful. Any recommendations?
