Apple is widely expected to release new iPad Air and OLED iPad Pro models in the next few weeks. According to new rumors coming out of Asia, the company will announce its new iPads on Tuesday, March 26.

Hi, I am new to Apple and wanting some clarifications. Will this new Magic Keyboard only work for the new upcoming iPad Pros? I am trying to decide whether to buy the current Magic Keyboard now for my 2018 iPad Pro , but also wanting to upgrade that to M3 iPad Pro 11 inch when it comes out. I have 2018 IPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7+. TBH, I was super interested in the the main selling point of S7+ OLED's but it is NOT up to my expectation: color is vibrantly excessive even if I changed the color mode to natural. But so far, there is no visible burn in identified so far.

I have the larger older iPad Pro and because of the file system in the OS it’s simply not worth buying pro versions because it’s a consumption device in the main. I love Apple gear, I’ve got lots of it, but I think they’re going to find the iPad Pro, not their best seller because of the OS rather than the technology of the hardware. If you’re listening Tim, you can’t have a pro device that’s such a pain in the butt to use from files and transferring and sharing and so on.

These rumors have been wrong for so long. I actually cant see apple doing 2 separate iPad events at this point now. They dropped new MacBook Air M3s already without an event. So with that logic one would assume if they do an April event at all, it wont just be for 2 iPads. Considering all the Ipads are on sale still should tell you they are clearing stock out to make room for new ipads. I could see the 10th Ipad, Ipad Mini 6 & Air, a new Iphone Color, Homepod, Macbook being put into an April event. If that does not happen I think Apple will be sporadically dropping products on their website until fall. So if we see Ipads on sale still mid April and beyond then you can bet new iPads are not coming until fall. Then we most likely will have the same lineup as fall 2021. A September and fall release schedule for Iphones & New Ipads. If the Pros arent getting changes that are not significant enough it will be just posted on there website like the M3 Air was. The rumor mill is super off at this point and just not something to follow anymore.

I have an M1 11” iPad Pro currently, needs a new battery. Rather than pay $120+ for a new battery, I’m gonna trade it in tomorrow and wait for the new iPad Pro. I’m a photographer so editing with Apple Pencil is hands down better than with a mouse/trackpad

It seems this video was done weeks ago and just published now. iPodOS 17.4 was released 2 weeks ago now. At this point I think nobody knows about the release of new iPads. We”ll see when an official announcement is made but until then it’s pure speculation and I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s no new iPads this spring at all.

@@nocnykoc assuming you’re going to watch movies or long content, beware of static elements, this will cause burn in the long run,that’s it. I’ve had past experience with oled Tvs. That doesn’t apply on phones because phones in a constant state between on and off. iPads has to be on for couple of hours at least.

Burn in with OLED is not nearly as prevalent as it once was. Especially with these smaller displays.

@@izamolina7610 lol. 3.5mm jack makes Bluetooth feel outdated by comparison. No latency, higher quality, no charging needed... The benefits are many, the downside is singular.

@@rokko_hates_japanUSB-C/ Thunderbolt 4 to 3.5mm adapter. I usually just use an audio interface or a headphone amp. The original DAC converters on the iPads, iPhones, and even MacBook Pro were not great.
