LG, Samsung, TCL, and Hisense are some of the most overrated garbage TV brands to exist. They don’t last 3yrs because of their cheap parts supply. Meanwhile the Panasonic, Sony, and Sharp TVs will never die because they’re built so well. I say this as a longtime user of Sharp and Sony TVs.

W95A is going to be a Bravia 7 competitor...
@Mr01dschool3 ай бұрын
Would love to see in-depth reviews of both the Z85A and W95A. I was looking at the Z95A but have no interest in the built-in sound system as it does not support all audio formats. I plan on getting a dedicated sound bar. Wish the Z85A had all the same features, including MLA, just without the built-in sound bar. However, that does not appear to be the case. I am still interested in either the Z85A or W95A since both support all the HDR formats, unlike Samsung, LG and Sony.

Definitely need to see if the Z85A fixes the C4’s shortcomings like off angle green tint, and color brightness in game mode. Also do Panasonic TV’s have DTS support?

Hi kG it's Steven Tregaskis, hope you remember me as my name doesn't come up in chat anymore, I'm always at work doing night shifts when I watch your live streams lol. Quick question, my wife wants a little 42 inch TV for the bedroom but I'm outta touch with anything non oled or quantum dot. Can you recommend a decent TV, no blooming, good contrast /colours etc and not too budget but not expensive either, in your world around 350-400 dollars, not sure what that is in the UK atm lol. Thanks for any input on this. And ty for the vids as always 😊
@TechWithKG3 ай бұрын
42” in that price range you won’t find anything that fits your description TCL Q6 or Samsung Q60D I reviewed the Q60D it was better than I thought, no blooming because it’s edge lit but the contrast definitely isn’t bad for edge lit. It just doesn’t get bright enough for HDR so SDR is really the best usage with it maybe look into Sony X85 if it’s on sale that may be along the same lines as the 2 I mentioned. Hope this helps.

Nice. But price and timing makes it doa. It’s not all round better than G4. Motion and APL/tone mapping is better on LG. Panasonic is in the same bucket as ridiculously priced Sony a95L. Sorry but for the same price I would not go WOLED.
@vcam-g9h4 ай бұрын
Better color accuracy than LG, better overall procesing.
@TechWithKG4 ай бұрын
Well I think DOA is a bit of a stretch most people buy during Black Friday if Panasonic wants to get aggressive around that time and match Samsung and LG then I think they are definitely competing if that happens.
@whitecrowuk5754 ай бұрын
@@TechWithKG might be of course different in US - but considering they are just launching - and historically they always were conservative with discounts here in UK, similarly to Sony - I would not keep my hopes up. Not to mention LG did make big jumps in processing and there isn’t that big difference anymore as it used to be. Dunno who would get Panasonic Woled over Sony QD Oled when priced similarly. There will be as usual few die hard fans - but these days that’s not enough.

@@vcam-g9h overall would not say - often apl lower than LG, resulting in less impactful hdr as per Vincent video. If I’m paying more I would expect better in every way, but it isn’t. Its price though is the biggest con. Dunno who would buy this over A95L. And a95L is not a good value.

I picked this 65" up at costco for $799 with 5 year warranty. The picture is fantastic, it is certainly close to the Bravia 7... except nearly half the price. It is also much better built than the chinese competition, it weighs about 15 lbs more. RT was rating it based on its msrp, and for $1700 - sure, there are much better TVs for that price. For $799 or even $1000... no. Much better motion handling and much less bloom than the X90L, which RT loves.
