Interesting review Ben, I'd say I prefer the Long Horn a bit more, it overall looks like a more premium truck. I like how for the Ram 1500 that mild hybrid setup is offered throughout the trims giving that extra torque. For the price you cant really go wrong with those trucks pretty much fully loaded top spec trims. This is more for those older folks who just want a truck to enjoy themselves, there are cheaper trims for the average tradesmen who want a new truck.

Exterior looks = Chevy Interior look and feel = Ram Performance = Chevy Ride Comfort = Ram Value = Chevy Overall I’d give the slightest nod to the Chevy even though I much prefer how the Ram rides. It’s awesome on a long road trip.

Ram is noticeably bigger in the second row. Ram takes 3” out of the bed for the second row room. Ram 5’7” bed, Chevy 5’10” bed. I’ve have both, for bed cargo Chevy wins, but for day-2-day Ram wins with better interior & space.

The Ram has more leg room and less head room. And the Ram has less cab room overall along with less bed room. Amazing trucks. I'm leaning toward the Silverado. Is the Sport Exhaust an option on the High Country, or is it standard? I would also get it with the automatic foldout running boards. Chevy also needs to offer a panoramic sunroof.

I have the Chevy High Country but the Ram interior is gorgeous love it. The Chevy look plain comparing to it. But hey it is what it is. They both nice indeed. But maybe Chevy will do an all new look in 2025 and up their game. But regardless I love my High Country...

That truck is not worth $75k, not even 60k tbh with those doors panels and other cheap materials. However I do prefer back of the Chevy. If you actually sit in Longhorn, you’d be mind blown, that interior is literally on par with luxury vehicles. However, I can’t justify that price tag on 1500, 2500 with Cummins - yes. That 6.2L is sick tho.

It’s too bad Ram stuck with that outdated hemi so long. At least they got wise for 2025. I work at a Ram dealership in service dept. I would never ever buy a Ram with a Hemi. Not after what I see everyday. And after listening to mechanics bitch all day about them

Ive had regular and panoramic sun roofs on lots of vehicles and used them maybe a dozen times. Maybe it's just my location but I don't love having the sun beating down on me all the time and now don't get them on my vehicles unless I'm buying one off the lot and it just has it.

Nice comprehensive, yet concise review. I like the more custom RAM interior, styling always subjective, however I prefer the more edgy Suburban like styling of the Chevy. While the suspension is more sophisticated on the Ram many do prefer the more old-school suspension over the long haul on the Chevy/Ford trucks especially for towing. Always amazed how luxurious these pick-ups have become. With the 10% price advantage and the throaty V8 Camaro like exhaust note and power I think I have to give it to the Silverado.

Ram is more controlled over uneven pavement. Ram is noticeably smoother ride overall, but both trucks still ride nice (for a truck).

Ram is softer and absorbs bumps and what not better. Chevy handles better and feels less floaty around corners and what not, just depends on what you prefer.
