For some reason, I’d rather take the platinum over the limited, bc I love that you can choose between two different interior colors on the platinum, and I’m a big fan of that caramel color that they offer on the platinum

On interior and exterior style I would go with Ram. For power trains either would be fine for me. But some of the features Ford gives you as options are hard to beat, the tailgate camera and sensors and the pro power on board are game changers in my opinion.

Ford has lot better front and side camera to get through the tight spot and 10 speeds is great on mileage. Ram has on engine brakes and inside look. I had 2020 F350 DRW 6.7 Lariat and now have 2023 Ram 3500 Limited HO 6.7 , DRW 8 ft bed w/ 4.1 gear.

Everybody to his or own! I wouldn't buy anything but a Ford if I was forced to buy a new truck. Personally none of these (vehicles) are worth what they are priced at! My biggest complaint with Dodge would be their warranty. I know too many that have had problems with the engines in the Dodge and they didn't want to warranty anything! As far as interiors yes Ford doesn't use all the fancy leather but when you clean those interiors the Ford is much easier to deal with plus you don't have to worry about Fords interior cracking due to heat! Tailgate well I don't care if it's stainless or crome the more the better! These trucks that are one solid color whether all black, all white I don't like it at all. Ya see in my opinion the 64 Galaxie 500 that had more crome inside than outside not to mention the Starliner oh crome crome crome! I want people to have to use a welding mask when they look at my cars or trucks! I don't knock anybodys likes or dislikes when it comes to vehicles everybody to their own. If you want to get serious about all this when they took the ignition switch from the dash and started putting it on the steering wheel column and took the dimmer switch off the floor and put it on the column that was the beginning of the end of vehicles as we had grown to know and love. One other point I would like to make is Fords choice of colors honestly they suck. I sure as hell don't want a white truck with blue interior either stone gray or black. At one time you could get a red vehicle with red interior just a blue vehicle with blue interior. For the price they're charging for these vehicles you should be able to get pink with purple polkadots if that's your thing! Ok I'm done!

Up here in Canada. Ford is about 15,000$ more money for 1 ton lariat vs Laramie. So I went with a ram

That's a crazy gap! And it's flipped here, I priced out a nearly identically equipped Laramie and it was a little over $3k more than a Lariat (with air suspension, but was missing a few other features vs the Ford). GM was somewhere in the middle.

I got a 2023 Ram pretty much the exact same, picked a different color and the HO Cummins, a few months ago for 111K up here in Canada. Ram was cheaper than the GM's and Ford's with similar options and I agree the Ram interior is still the best though the new GM interior is really nice now. I agree Ram needs to update the cab on the HD but it was not a deal breaker for me, the new mirrors are awesome.

I'm a Ford guy, I don't usually hate on other manufacturers either but that ram looks amazing. I love the 2021+ rams. Power wise, hard to go against the high output especially since I found out on window sticker it's a $2500 option on the higher trims. The towing capacity is impressive. On a f350 srw with the HO, 24k bumper, 27k gooseneck. Would it handle that much, I doubt it because of the single rears but still impressive ratings. I'd take either.

I'm a Ram guy, having said that....Ram better be doing HEAVY discounts on their trucks with that RIDICULOUS sticker price! No sane person in the world would pay only a few thousand less for a 3500 Ram, than a better equipped 450 Ford dually. Nevermind the trim levels/options....you're just getting MORE TRUCK with the Ford! I'm no fan of the Powerstroke, but if I HAD to go buy a new truck tomorrow and that's the way prices are running these days, Ford is gonna get my business, Ram is on crack with those prices.

I’ve always been a Ram guy and where the Cummins is concerned I still am. My first was a 97 Cummins Sport Longbed. However, yesterday I sat in a new F250 Lariat at $92K and around the corner there was a new $85K Ram 3500 Laramie longbed that I’ve had my eye on. Aside from the beautiful sound of the Cummins, there’s no comparison, the Lariat is the nicer truck over the cramped and dated Ram interior. I’ll take the Cummins any day though.

I just looked at a 2024 Ram 3500 SRW Mega Cab Limited with a sticker price of over 108k, without any dealer markup. Absolutely ridiculous for a 5 year old design. Ram has completely out priced themselves. The Ram dealership had little to no interest in working on the price, so I guess there are idiots out there willing to pay that for a truck …

I'm on my 3rd Ram, but I've always liked the look of a King Ranch Super Duty. It would be interesting to compare a King Ranch Super Duty to a Ram Laramie Longhorn. Just looking at pictures, it seems like the Ford still loses to Ram in terms of quality of design and materials, but it would be interesting to see in person. Ford offers a HUD, though, which I'm surprised Ram hasn't adopted. Some say the Ford is a smoother ride than the Ram, but I'd have to drive both to really know for sure. Lastly, the Ford has a lot more power and torque in their 6.7 HO than Ram's 6.7 Cummins.

More power on paper. Everyone knows that the Cummins gets torque to the wheels better than the v8 engines because it’s a I6. If you had the option to get a Cummins in your super duty you wouldn’t think twice about it.

Great video comparison… some visual is nice in Ram, like GM use a lot of leather trim, but same seat shape to lower trim. I think Ford Limited is much better in visual and hands down more comfort for tall guys, and there is a noticeable jump in quality & comfort in seats from lower levels. The Dash, Button layouts & Horizontal screen layout of Ford Limited is better designed. Agree the Large Sunroof is very nice bonus compared to a small portal view. Overall the luxury of Ford Limited is more durable & workable… easier to clean, doesn’t get the worn look as much… but that might be the black compared to lighter color too. The ability to customize & tweak via software access modifying default settings, calibrating tire heights, etc and all the 3rd party components puts the Ford even further in overall package. The one visual I do like better on Ram & GM is the graceful curved Dually fenders… very nice. The F450 is a little more brutish in Dually view but prefer the ability to easily repair too.

I noticed the plastic door panels on my Ram seem to be softer and scratch easier than on my Ford, which isn't a big deal to many, but for me, it's a cosmetic annoyance.

That F450 Limited is so nice, but I'd rather have a Platinum for a better interior color scheme. Ford just can get it right with their Limited trim. As a Ram guy, I just don't understand their pricing strategy. This truck is still not the most expensive as you can option on a Megacab, and even higher on a dually. I love my Ram trucks, but they need to get on with the business of seriously overhauling the truck to justify such a price.

We’ll I think the ford is nicer. I traded a 2023 Chevy in on a 23 ram. Decided after 2 weeks the ram was way to much money for the options I had. Ended up finding a 4th gen ram. GEM. So got rid of the 23 and went back to an 18 ram. I can’t tell much difference between the 23 and the 18. Yes the inside is nicer and the styling of the 23 is nicer but overall the 4th gens aren’t plagued by the problems of the 5th gens. Great video as always.

The F250 and F350 can swap in the Tremor front air dam. It might fit the F450 as well.

You would use the ford bed step all the time. I’m 37 and can easily jump into the bed if I want, but I always deploy the step. Never the handle though

Man ram just needs to take the 5th gen bodies and slap them on the HD truck. That would solve a lot of interior features that they currently struggle with like a pano sunroof and full tilt/telescoping wheel. My rebel has it all and large rear setting for the kids and dogs even 😊

That may be the truck that i cancelled just a few weeks ago. I instead picked up 2023 Ram 3500 Limited DRW Pearl White Crew Cab Night Edition 8 ft bed 4.1.. it is my daily driver and I am coming off 2020 F350 DRW 6.7 Lariat 8 ft bed. My Ram already comes with TPMS, Auto Leveling Rear Air Suspension. Interior on Ram is much modern, quiet. Turbo is quiet, AC fan is quite. Cabin is so quiet, many have paid compliment and surprised that i am talking to them from inside cabin of Ram. Truck rides more smooth. I look at my TPMS. Now things that I miss not having F450 Limited. Ford has 1) much better white paint... 2) G rated tires - more puncture resistent 3) weight scale 4) Wide front axle turning. so at the end, Ram will have lots less drama. cheaper tires, easy to find the tire shop.. no centramatic needed.. no need to install TPMS. I do miss not having F450 TPMS, but for me, Ram is easier truck to maintain. Ford sells better longer warranty 10 year 175k miles. Ram only sells 8 year 125 k warranty

I have all 3 trucks they all get the job done , the perfect truck would be ford ( seats rest finished in the dodge interior ) Cummins motor & the Allison transmission 💯. If they make that just tell me where to sign 🪧 🤙🏻
