Good review but it's worth noting in the UK they've only just announced the larger screen (it was a RHD issue, not a Aus-specific issue) and the larger screen does in fact get the physical switchgear.

Yeah. The European version has bigger screen and those buttons… so not an issue, but smaller screen looks better. IMHO.

Worth noting the car is currently $10k cheaper until EOFY.

There is a small opening in the key fob where you can attach a small rope/string? To attach other stuff to. I’ve managed to attach my garage opener that way.

Great test. Love the detail. Just one thing on the charging time figures. 130kw DC - 30 minutes 15-80%. But 50kw DC 6 hours 10-80%. Then 6.6kw AC - 9 hours 0-100. That 50 kw figure it must have a good nap in the middle.

You do get a 360-degree and a camera mirror on the iconic version.

Sorry to tell you, but the European version of this car, with the 12’ screen HAS physical buttons. Mine has! Great car by the way😊

Ouch, seems like the Australian release misses out on a lot by having the cheaper infotainment trim (small screen): one of the best parts of my 1 year ownership of Megane E-tech (e.g. compared to my current car) was the fact the native google maps works very nicely with route planning long trips. Not to mention, getting the map visualised in the display in front of the driver helps a lot when navigating in a new environment. Overall it was a very lovely car and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to most people (with the usual caveats to electric cars and infrastructure) 😊

Hi, thanks for input.. Seeing had for a while.. Do you know approximate range on longer highway drive!

Not a huge EV fan as I feel they are being forced on us way too fast as the infrastructure is not really there and thier are a number of other issues...but my Mom has one of these the Techno Plus version and it has surprised me as it drives very well, in fact the handling is exceptional and for my Mom's use which is local driving and haviing a home charger, it just works very well. Fit and finnish is excellent, the google integration is another plus and the smaller screen is actually a plus as it has proper buttons for the key functions like AC and volume. Overall surprised but still a bit on the expensive side...

The larger screen also has the same buttons. No difference there.

The aus version doesn’t have the full google services which is a shame.

Agree. I have one of these , love the car - but really disappointed that Renault Aus haven’t provided the full Goodle Assistant like you get in the UK/Europe

Why the 20” wheels…
@richardpiper48286 ай бұрын
It is strongly rumoured that it will not be long before your mobile will be able to replace the key fob which perhaps explains why Renault never designed a proper fob but just raided their old parts bin.

If they put 18 inch rim on it, instead of 20 inch it will get closer to 500km

Do the headrests actually move back? People with ponytails find that really uncomfortable....
IMO, this Reggie HAS to be THE best looking EV, PHEV or even a French ICE-mobile which demanded The Boss & I to conduct our static showroom test when they showed up in my local dealer. Tres bon. BUT, for us it's loaded with le grande deal breakers :( * No opening sun roof & not even an option for one. * No rear armrest or ski port for Bunnings long load items. * THAT...p**sy little rear hatch opener which could be fun (not) finding it on a dark & raining night. Where's the under bumper leg waving opener?! * Annnd.....forget about carrying anyone blessed with feet!!! Even with the driver's seat raised. The technology, the fit & finish....all tres magnifique. But the sum of the above is a no go for us :( Merde

You can tell a lot about a person by the car they drive and the people that promote them. Myopic idealogues living an illusion of climate extremism where none exists. The climate will do what it's done since it's inception, consistently change regardless.
