180km/h isn't slow , like seriously how much speed do you need? Most roads here in Greece doesn't even permit 120 plus km/h. Also for enyone saying this is a small engine for a big car like this i hope you know this is a hybrid car, the engine isn't pulling alone.

I think the speed limiter is there for technical reasons, not company policy or something. I'm guessing the traction motor's rev limit or ICE max power, or both

@@zytar_goose Well, ok, it might be both. Still, if you removed the limiter, you would probably f*ck up the hybrid drivetrain. I doubt they gave that traction motor much of a safety margin beyond 180 kph...

You do know it's not limited because of 1.2 but because of the whole hybrid sistem

With a rs3 motor would be better or minimum with a 2l benzin/hybrid but this motor is doesnt make any sense. An old Opel astra can make the same numbers or even more better😢
