This is a quick walk around of the RH - ProV 18 Tiller. This particular boat is a pretty basic boat ready for hunting, fishing or anything in between.

You boys need to use a lapel mic for better quality of sound.👍

We aren't sure why we are loosing the audio quality. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you mounted a trolling motor on the bow, where would the batteries go?
@northwater4991Ай бұрын
There is room under the front deck that can be used for batteries. You could get 2 in there for a 24V system.

Seat cushion absorbs water get ready for wet pants replaced mine Kleets are even with logo dock bumper will rub it off Bow splash is a problem driving into the wind Plastic fuel tank & gauge is a joke . The rest of the boat I really like. Just a few things that could have been better thought out

Hi Duane. Not sure where you got the info that this has a plastic tank. Most of the RH boats have aluminum welded tanks that the company builds in house. Let us know if we can help with any questions.

Lots of open space! Where do they pack the foam in that hull?
@northwater49915 ай бұрын
If you notice, this boat has a welded platform on the transom. While this is a very nice added feature, it also make the boat over 20ft so therefore it does not need the dreaded foam to be added. Unlike many other brands of boats that need foam to create the stiffness and structural strength in their hulls, this boat has plenty of strength without it. Also, without the foam you won't need to worry about the inevitable water absorption, corrosion and floor rot associated with foam.

Awesome. Thanks for that info. I am aware that over 20’ there are very few rules, and I understand how the manufacturers might label it an “18V” indicating 18’ when the actual hull length is different. Thanks again!!

I have the 17' version. The foam was inside sealed bags in bildge and on side gunnels. They also had it up front below front deck and injected inside the box stringers. Boat is a tank, drafts 6"-8" at rest. I've run a 25/40/60 on it and it gets on plane at 15-16 mph. I've run it in rivers next to fly fisherman and in lakes. It's a tiller and wet ride when it gets nasty. Have had 3 people in one side never felt tippy.

@@omieyouknowme Yes, on boats that are under 20ft overall the USCG does require foam. As I mentioned the 18ft boat has a welded swim platform/ladder on the back that officially makes it over 20ft.
