Sweet, thanks for the update. I’ve got the same boat with a 50 etec. I moved to a 15 pitch prop this year and it’s a perfect fit, big difference from my old 13 pitch. You probably will get at least a couple more mph out of that 60 by stepping up one or two inches of pitch and not notice much if any loss in hole shot.

The 14 pitch is biggest I can go in aluminum if I can only hit 5500 rpm. With stainless 14p which I did not bring it would get me to 5800 rpm or more and 33+ prob. But that's for Sept, the 25 is going on it for the ponds here in Calirado

@@omieyouknowme oh ok. I’m at 5750 rpm WOT with a 15p aluminum and I top out at 30 mph. 30mph is plenty in a small tiller boat anyway. I don’t care to go much faster on the top end. It’s nice to get a few more mph at cruising speed though. With the 13p I was chugging through gas to maintain 23-24mph but much nicer with the 15p. Small lakes your fine with any motor on there!

@@willwarnock2911 I'm not after top speed but want to be able to hit 5700rpm as well the 14p aluminum won't do it. The stainless 14p does. I'm also dragging that kicker and whale take that is weight And drag also. I know if I unload a 100lbs or so it makes a diff but I keep putting crap in. Did the video though to show a 40hp I think is a better motor, less weight and a proper prop does great.
