In this real vs fake Rolex Submariner Hulk video guide, we are going to show you the best, yet the easiest spots to look at in order to differentiate between the genuine vs replica Rolex Submariner 116610LV watches.
Even though the authentic watch has been officially discontinued as of September 2020, present in the video are two Rolex Hulk watches (reference number 116610LV) - one genuine item and one top-replica item. Both watches were not brand new.

The crown on the rehaut does NOT have to be perfectly aligned with the 12 o’clock marker! In fact they are very seldom perfectly aligned on genuine Rolexes.

I wear Breitlings (even when they loose money;) but I bought the Replika of the Hulk, and I was shocked how good it is faked. I keeping it with my originals, it’s perfect if u want to wear a cool watch in an area with pickpockets:) the one I got is perfect in color the crown magnification.... maybe I was just lucky I guess, and got the one where the machine worked well;) maybe they send me a real one per accident;)) I didn’t went over it with magnifying glass, but who does.

If we are talking about the Hulk (116610LV), it is well known that the color on the bezel and dial doesn't perfectly replicate the genuine - best to notice it if comparing the replica next to the authentic Hulk. In case you are talking about what is known to be as Hulk's replacement - the 126610LV (Kermit), it is also known that the replicas on the market do replicate the color much better. We will cover this reference number released in September 2020 in an upcoming guide.

What are you REALLY trying to achive then? 99% of youtubers claim a "600$" replica high end - while obviously being a cheap knockoff, unknown factory. No high end replica costs this much, two best ones are 458$ each. A lot of passionate owners of real deals store their watches in a safe, while wearing replicas outside. Plenty of reasons - safety, wallet-friendly, less damage risk while storing your precious one untouched. I'll never belive that it's not a promotion of a genuine one :).

The best tell is to screw the crown down, and put the watch underwater for about am hour, if it's fake you'll be left with a watch soup under the glass. If it's Gen, you'll have no problem!!

@@willbramley7175 the good Rolex fakes >€300 even have trip-lock crowns wit 3 rubber seals. So some are as water proof as a genuine. They are not tested as extensively and sometimes suffer from quality check issues, but if checked most can reach serieus depths. Not talking about the €50 dollar “holiday fakes” which sometimes also are sold for a lot of money. You have to do your research. Even with fakes 🤗

However, it is indeed known that most of the fake watches are waterproof or can get waterproof by watch smiths using specific techniques - not the same quality as the genuine watches, but they can still do part of the job.

I can tell you how to tell if it is a fake on any rolex. Open the case back and look at the movement with a loop. You can tell by the shitty finish on a fake china movement.

This can be an accurate option to authenticate the watch. However, there are still enough differences to be spotted on the front of the watch, without tools to open the case-back or anything like that

There is no doubt that they can't compare to the genuine thing, I don't think anyone is kidding themselves into believing they have the genuine article.
