2024 SCOTTSDALE THURSDAY BROADCAST - Thursday, January 25 - BARRETT-JACKSON 2024 AUCTION

On Thursday, January 25, one of the most heartfelt moments on the Barrett-Jackson block was the sale of the first of the auction’s four charity vehicles. Lot 3000, a 2023 ‪@Chevrolet‬ Corvette Z06 3LZ, brought the gavel down on a winning bid of $220,000. Noted philanthropist and long time friend of Barrett-Jackson, Michelle Mauzy, donated an additional $50,000 to the cause, bringing the total raised to $270,000. With no fees or commissions added to charity cars, 100% of the hammer price will go directly to The Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation, which aims to raise awareness of amyloidosis and raise funds for educational and research purposes.
The 2024 Scottsdale Auction has continued to set auction world records day after day with many spectacular sales. Thursday was a shining example, with over 30 auction world records broken and set. Highlights of the day included Lot 792.1, a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427/435, Lot 803.1, a 2023 ‪@Dodge‬ Challenger SRT Demon 170, and Lot 806, a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air custom hardtop. Each sold for $220,000.
Other notable sales from the day included Lot 801, a 1979 ‪@ford‬ Bronco Custom SUV, for $216,700; Lot 740, a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and Lot 801.1, a 1970 Chevrolet K10 custom pickup, each selling for $176,000.
As the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Scottsdale Auction heads into its high-octane final three days, the collector cars are heading into the fast lane. On Friday, January 26, over 400 more of the world’s most sought-after vehicles will cross the block with No Reserve.

2;41;00 I beiieve this year the Playmate of the Year (72?) received a Playmate Pink Targa! I saw it in the San Diego dealers showroom. Have to wonder where it is now?

1968 GTX was QQ1 bright metallic blue, it was different then B5 blue, you have to take the fine aluminum flaks out to match this one year color, which is a darker brighter blue, in my opinion looks better then B5

If you want to sell your sweet ride, the Barrett-Jackson is it………..so the 10% is worth it.
