I've got a 2020 VRS Challenge Edition and it's fantastic. I honestly love it. It's rapid and takes a lot of people by surprise. Especially with the cheeky 300bhp from a stage one.

Waiting for my lease and warranty to run out next year and then a stage 1 is going on mine as well. Can't wait.
@Emjackson8915 күн бұрын
@@dimsoneill it'll be the best thing you do. Make sure you get the DSG configuration as well as the stage one. You can do it together. It's really important otherwise the DSG box won't be tuned to handle the power correctly and you'll get lots of lag. I got told this when I had my tuned so I paid for the DSG configuration as well

Can I just say how much I enjoy your video style? So many reviewers have the same boring stiff style, or try to force some humour in that always ends up just feeling awkward. You guys don't seem to take things too seriously and your humour and personality comes through naturally without feeling over the top, and it really makes the video enjoyable to watch. Excellent review, of an excellent vehicle! Simply. Bloody. Clever.

I have a 2020 vRS and it is the best car I have ever owned. 4 years and not one issue. Fun, practical and full of excellent tech. When the lease runs out next year there is literally not a car on the market that delivers what this car does and beats it for the price. I'll be keeping it for a few more years and put the money away for a DSG or water pump fix down the track when that eventually happens. With a Stage 1 and DSG tune this car is as fast as you can get away with in Australia with Mr Plod and his cameras everywhere.

Brilliant cars, had a lot of skodas and they've been 100% reliable. Fabia, Superb, Octavia are all nicee cars than their equivalent vw stablemates and miles ahead of any korean offering. Plus they are a timeless design and age gracefully, unlike anything japanese.

I actually quite like this. I would personally not get it as a wagon but if you can get it as an actual hatchback, I would get this over a GTI all day ( I have a mk6 GTI and love it! )

@@dimsoneill I don’t disagree. I’m just not a wagon guy. If it was a Mercedes E55 wagon from early 2000’s with the supercharged v8 I would buy the wagon.

What was the turbo issue, did VW/Skoda diagnose it post review.
@niteshsharavan64718 ай бұрын
The turbo issues. I feel it’s not a turbo thing, it’s the sound because of the wheel spin?
@30harbakshsingh4511 ай бұрын
with a simple ecu and tcu tune and an exhaust they produce a good amount of power

A stage 1 even without exhaust mods gives them serious get up and go. Don't sound good with the stock exhausts though, I agree.

If you could share the ride comfort in the second row. Does that second row give a bumpy and uncomfortable ride. I lean toward the Kodiaq coz SUV are generally more comfy in the second row for passengers ( kids or adults).
