I bought a first gen Hayabusa the first year they came out. Over the years I have owned 6, my most recent a gen 3 (2023, all black) that I have put 3,000 miles on. The gen 3 is by far the most competent of them all.

If it was between the H2, Ninja ZX-14R and a Busa, I’d probably go with the Busa, mainly due to its ability to tour and the large 3rd party market. Kawasaki is doing some nice things but there’s something to be said for a bike that’s been around for 25 years and is still supported by 3rd parties. Suzuki seems to have a few bikes like that.

I try to buy one but I scared too heavy to me. What did you reckon about this bike is good or too heavy ?
@wakajawaka449 ай бұрын
I sold my 2022 Hayabusa because it was too heavy for me 267kg. I never felt confident turning this bike at slow speed. If you drop the bike it could be expensive! I also had trouble selecting 2nd gear at times. Some bike reviewers also complained about the same problem. It is a lovely bike and sounds wonderful but that weight got the better of me.

There's nothing on that bike that's very rare compared to the other 2024 except stickers 🤪🤪🤪🤪
@PeterLoweOne11 ай бұрын
So I thought about that, but what would you want them to do? It's not like this is a mid-range bike for them where they can dig into their parts bin and put a higher end component on it from a more sporty bike. As legendary as the Hayabusa is, it's still not a high volume bike as far as sales numbers, so you can't add so much that you price it too high to sell. Maclean's Sports sells a LOT of bikes but even they still have a 2023 model next to it in the showroom. So I think it's a tough thing to do. We can all say what we'd like this thing to be, but unless we're willing to part with our money for it, I kind of understand why Suzuki did what they've done.

I've always loved a fully faired sport bike. The Hayabusa isn't the most up to date style right now, but it's absolutely legendary for what it is. You're right, this bike is ALL about the engine, but the nice updates in tech really improve this bike from it's beginnings to now.
