Those are electronic folding mirrors. I'm not sure if any of the Tacomas have it. Maybe the 2024 Limited.

Not Toyota's software, but I believe you can with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Unless there's some way to split the screen that I haven't figured out yet.

An OBD2 connector that can control that will work. I use a carista model (the pro version thats just a little more expensive) and I've had mine off since the beginning.

That's a great question. I don't have a garage at the moment, unfortunately, so I'd suggest checking the owner's manual. Sorry we don't have a better answer for you.

There's two types of braking assist. One is more aggressive, called Proactive Driving Assist (labeled PDA in settings). Then there is also braking assist for your pre collision system (PCS). Both settings are managed in the dashboard display's settings menu.

It's in the settings of the digital dashboard. I think it's called "Rugged" style.
