@@counterfeitcowboy1362 Toyota priced the tacos to high moved the entire taco to made in Mexico and the small displacement 4 cylinder turbo with a battery doesn’t help either- they should have at least offered the v6 like Honda ford and Nissan

No... It's because it is simply expensive for what it offers.. badass? Yes People who "have" money aren't buying these type of vehicles at that price... People in debt, living almost paycheck to paycheck buy these type of vehicles thinking they can do it

I own a 2023 4runner and love it ,but the ford ranger rapture is 8K cheaper and as good if not better in all of the testing ive seen thu far-and a ZR2 is 48k and pretty close two

The Ford is missing a bunch of features this truck has plus the Ford is butt ugly inside and out. The Chevy is the best value, looks and functionality plus lower price.

100%. I saw the sales numbers for this year the other day. Toyota is still leading after not having any Tacomas to sell for some of December, all of January and February. We didn’t get our first Tacomas till March.

That Tacoma is beautiful. Do you know if Toyota will be producing the 2 door base model for 2025? I'm sure they wanted to get the higher trim models out first. It's very exciting to see one of the Motherships going up the 15 freeway fully loaded with 2024 Tacomas. I can only imagine the excitement when one lands at your dealership.

It really is! Yeah everytime the taco truck shows up it’s an exciting day!😂 I just looked at the inventory for the whole country and it looks like there’s 160 SR access cab Tacoma 4x4s out there that are all in allocation status. So it seems like they’re starting to build them👍

The only thing Toyota has going for it is resale value and reliability. I don't think that's truly a thing for them anymore. The ZR2 and ranger raptor aren't cheap trucks. But to have something that does the exact same thing arguably worse for SO much more money and the only thing to justify it is oh it's reliable though. Toyota has been hurting bad with that haha

It would be worth every penny if the ranger raptor and Colorado ZR2 did not exist. The TRDpro is an inferior truck at a ridiculous price.

Also to note, this truck is made for people less than 200 pounds, any bigger and you will feel cramped.

Well...yes and no. Styling, technology, suspension killed it. Pricing, engine is a miss. If you can get 300hp out of a 3 cylinder gr corolla...should be able to get at least 400hp out of this motor....

Yeah that maths. 100 horse per cylinder would put this at 400 horsepower for the gas and 450 for the hybrid 🤯that would be an insane amount of power for a little truck

It’s all expensive anymore. I saw a new ram 3500 Laramie ( not even the top of the line limited) that had an msrp of over 100k. No market adjustments, no stupid dealer add on packages. The msrp from ram was over 100k

Hmmmmm……worth EVERY penny?? Well lets compare how much a vehicle depreciates compared to, well owning a house. I guess if you gotta have the excitement of the first kid on the block and have the best and greatest toy, then game on! But if your conservative about cost vs loss, then probably not. Yea, nice truck; minus no room for anybody to sit in the back seat but then again, if you can justify the high cost, know cares about anyone sitting in the back seats?😳

Well yeah, that money would obviously make more sense in a home or an investment. But if you’re buying a toy…😁 this one’s pretty sweet. And for the back seat being small, it’s basically an offroad sports car. 😁 sports cars don’t have very good back seats either

Toyota shot themselves in the foot. Too greedy and betting on the hype train to make profit rather than making quality trucks. Should’ve kept the V6 too. Oh well Nissan Frontier here I come
