The reason they dont make new games is they are too expensive and people wont buy a new ip and making games exclusive to a console is bad because it costs too much money to make those games so they always end up porting them to another system unless you are nintendo.

"Why we cant make new games"? Because people who are making these games are either...lack creativity of their own or, the management is so hard on them that they forbidding them to do anything new or out of the box or else they get reprimanded. Personally, i think its the latter. Check the history of biggest non innovation company EA. Their innovation went down the drain as soon their founder who was a n actual game developer step off and a corpo asshole took over. EA - Lawyer becomes CEO - creativity sinks Bethesda - Lawyer become CEO - creativity plummets Blizzard gets bought by Activision and game dev CEO get replaced by a "businessmen" Bobby K, and would you look at that creativity slowly start to sink but money starts pouring. Ubisoft - this is a bit of anomaly because current CEO is also the founder but he is not a game dev but a "businessman" like Kotik i did not fount too much on him but everything indicates that mr. Guillemot is "old money"...and yes affairs are rumors been following him ever since he founded Ubisoft. This is nothing new. He just never let things get out of hands and into public...until recently. Still, great video, great thoughts, great observations. Keep it up.

yeah, i definitely see why shit is the way it is, i just wish that stuff in an artistic medium was still made to be art. thanks for the comment, i appreciate it!
