Opening the truck is not the problem, there is a lever on the drivers side where the gas lever is and it’s not a dealbreaker

The Sedan IS a significant amount of legroom over the hatch. Hatch is 29 inches and 5 inches more legroom of the Sedan makes a huge difference so you don't have to figure out who is sitting behind who!

Mine does come with the switchblade key still and will be done paying for it in 2025, but also has the 1.8 litre engine which has been proven to be reliable.

Rear Suspension would be better with Torsion Beam more durable than IRS a big plus @ over 200k miles. Rear disk brakes won't last as long as drum brakes. Unknown if the 2.0 will be as durable as the 1.8 engine. Still uses key yea🥰

I think you'll be fine. The power to weight ratio is good and the engines been out for 5 yrs. I got one only because I fit in it, and because it's not a car that breaks down, and it lasts. And the two cam two litre engine is a good fit. This car weighs the same as a new 97 Camry with the 2.4.

im having trouble with lower back pain in the 2024 le, does anyone else have this? ive never had back pain in a car before, im 5’7 155 pounds, workout 5 days a week, so i know its not my back, i just came from a chevy equinox and was so excited to get the new corolla but ive been regretting it for the past 2 weeks ive had it! i had to take muscle relaxers to be able to sleep after a 45 minute drive in it.

For taller people it can be a little uncomfortable which I talk about in the review (the seats are small). Coming from the Equinox, I would say yes it’s normal as that is also an suv so you will be going lower to get in and out.

It might be, but i dont think its just the corolla, the newer cars seem to be going for a "cocoon" shape on their seats with their head restraints tilted more forward due to safety regulations.

I have the 24 Corolla LE in Celestite as shown. Not understanding what you mean you can’t unlock the trunk without the key fob with the car running. There’s a trunk release on the floor by the driver side along with the fuel door release.

The le doesn’t have a button on the key for as you know so yes you can pop it inside but if you have the car running and your outside you have to go inside to open it 👍

I would take it back to the dealership, it sounds like it needs the software reset or updated. In my vehicle it needed the dealership to program it as it was still in demo mode.

Basically does not exist in Texas. Have to go beyond the reach of Gulf State Toyota to get one. They prefer to load the cars with addons and not include the convenience package so they can get more money out of you. Plenty of people are getting around that by going on a ski trip in Colorado and then driving home with their new Corolla for less though.

I have a base 2024 Corolla SE as a rental this week. It is very efficient… I am getting 38 mpg while driving it like a, well, rental. Downside, the car has zero passion. The CVT and engine combo are rough and noisy. I personally find the seats very uncomfortable. No doubt, it is a reliable and efficient appliance, but as a car enthusiast it has zero appeal. I could see the hybrid as an amazing commuter car.

The base model should be around $14-18,000 for having spare tire rims with plastic covers for one example... 22k is overpriced. And they would make more profit having the price that low, especially with the economy for certain states or countries. The Camery should be the sedan within that 22k-28k range.

So frustrated. I bought my 2024 Corolla LE 2 months ago. I regret buying mine because of the CVT transmission. On acceration it makes jerking movements. Ive brought it back to dealer and they said this is normal for these cvt transmissions. They ran a diagnostic test and showed me it was fine but I hate this feeling. I am a senior lady and dont like the feeling I might get stuck. I traded in my 2004 Corolla S that ran smoothly for this. If this is "Normal" it really makes me regret buying it. :(

@@superaa6779 The car companies really should do a better job of making replacement bumpers affordable. The only reason they're so expensive is you almost always have to respray em when you get em. If they just made it so you could order the color you want, then have body shops polish the cars before fitting the bumper on, they won' have to worry about color matching unless the car is 10+ years old and faded.

The head is not rebuildable (laser etched valve guides) ,electric water pump. Plastic valve cover. Over engineered and doesn’t get much more mpg’s than the 1.8 also very noisy valve train.

My Buick 2000 has a plastic valve cover..so what does that mean. It doesn't effect the motor. Look at your Nissan's. Their CVT transmission get stuck in 1st gear. Numerous vehicles where I work are rented and these things happen. Toyota has good vehicles and some are now made in Mississippi.
