Agreed, they did a great job on the new Prius! Unfortunately, the Prime model is only available in FWD, I can only imagine how it would launch if it also had the rear electric motor 😀

@@hokie9910 I’ve only driven a Prime, but from what I’ve read online, the regular AWD Prius is about a half of a second slower than the Prime and the regular FWD one is about a second slower.

Love your videos man. I just purchased a Lexus UX 300H has the same powertrain any chance you could test actual real-world torque and 0-60s on the AWD?

Thank you 😊 Since I don’t work at the dealership anymore, I don’t have access to a UX300h for testing right now. For some reason, Lexus/Toyota don’t like to provide the combined torque numbers for the gas engine + electric motors. It could be tested on a speed-synchronized AWD dynamometer if the vehicle is put into inspection/maintenance mode to find real-world output.
