@GlennC7898 ай бұрын
@@uhAlphaFox That's interesting. Rare, though. Car and Driver magazine always prided themselves on getting the best results possible, for just one example. Then readers started calling them out on eliminating the rollout time, usually a couple tenths or a bit more. They copped to it, since they had no choice, but still do it. So their published results aren't actually real 0-60 times, they're more like 2-60 times. They also use tricks like traction-compound-treated strips with perfectly clean surfaces, and I think they also "correct" their times to sea-level-standard conditions, which also makes them look better than they really are since they don't test at sea level. They'll also abuse the hell out of cars to get their times and sometimes tell stories about fragged clutches and transmissions and the like. KZbin types don't usually go to those extremes.

If i was looking for a mid size truck I'd compare the Tacoma with a Nissan Frontier. Then I'd look for an older Tundra with the V8. From there I'd make my choice. Probably go with the Tundra so I wouldn't care if it got scratched. It's a truck, you haul crap and it gets war wounds. Get over it. Lots of choices out there, no need to spend 60k. Be smart and remember it's just a truck and not some wood polished French museum piece.

I bought the last of the V6 4R’s recently, the 4R will be ruined as well.

Hope you don’t wanna go anywhere far with its tiny 18gal fuel tank. Particularly if you’re towing or hauling.

Toyota used to be affordable and reliable. Can't say that any longer... Made in Mexico with turbo engine. Quality went downhill faster than you can say " Andale Arriba Arriba !!! "

Unfortunately the track that we use was under maintenance for a few weeks and so we couldn't run the full quarter mile.

Drop the sewing machine engine and bring back the reliable V6! My 2005 tacoma is still running strong.

Does it track you and send data to corporations or government? Can it be turned off. This info should be included in every road test.

So it's taco in name only with a 2.4 liter 4cyl engine that is fit to power nothing bigger than a Rav4 I'm going by toyotas past guidelines for automobiles 4.0 liter V6 Tacoma why not 3.5 liter V6 towing ability not adequate
