The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor was inexplicably excluded from launch in the United States. but with the 2024 Ranger Raptor getting the go ahead for release, its looking like a strong contender in the segment.
and with both entering their all new generations within the last year. it's time to line these trucks up and see how their specs compare. So without any further ado, lets get into it.

I have been driving Toyota Tacoma since early 20s, I really like the dependability and reliability of the Toyota Tacoma, but until I can test drive the 2024 Tacoma with it new 4 cylinder turbo engine? The ford ranger raptor is sounding like a good alternative? But I have to take a test drive to make up my mind.

I own Toyota products for a while, and now drive Ford vehicles for work. I must confess at 60 plus miles the Ford vehicle make me feel uncertain and doubtful sometimes. With my Toyota vehicles I have yet (knock on wood) to have issues or that same feeling. Some engineering is well throughout in the Ford vehicles, some others are missing in the Toyotas, but I personally prefer reliability, ease of use, a secure feeling and dependability from my vehicles. I'd give the Ranger a try (as in test drive, close up look), but will still follow the Toyotas anywhere.

I’ve been driving Toyota’s for 30 years. I currently have 3 Toyota’s. I’m very interested in the TRD PRO. My concern is the Tacoma is going to be OVER priced. Witch would force me to switch to the Ford Ranger Raptor. Toyota the ball is in your court.

Ranger raptor for sure. All those Toyota/Lexus trucks have that same front design look, which in my opinion is not that nice. There is way too many lines and breaks all over the Tacoma and Toyota is clearly trying to make it look “tougher” with the flared fenders which make it look like a transformer of some sort. A little more KISS and less over design would be better for the Tacoma.

@@driftx2this is a brand new model with a brand new powertrain. How do you know it will last that long? Also, if you are going purely by reputation, Raptors are no slouch either. Some 2018 F-150s had bad head gaskets, but otherwise the Raptors are rock solid in terms of reliability and durability. They are built for much tougher conditions and loads than any stock Toyota will ever see.

I see the better design and high Technology is Ford ranger but i see Mitsubishi Triton is much better perfect driving than this Ford ranger and Toyota tacoma because Mitsubishi have highest Technology futuristic and always the winner champion in rally championship king tittle champion is holding by Mitsubishi Guinness books of world record
