Thanks Jeff. I guess it was about 1 year ago we were discussing the revel of the Grand Hilander. Sad to see the Venza going away. Toyota quality throughout and built in Japan. I remember the day Veneza arriving at the Fred Anderson dealership lot. Im still remembering the day that you selected Veneza over all the other contestants. It was real. Tough to find those real emotions in todays pretenious internet world. Venza you will be missed😢.

That’s disappointing. I think they’re so beautiful and hope to own one someday (used of course). I guess it makes sense that they’re going away - too similar to both a Lexus RX and a RAV4, and people are probably going either way but not in the middle - the Venza. 🙁 really too bad.

I feel like they should have called the Venza the Harrier, which is what they call it in Japan. I own a 2023 limited, went four states over to buy it and drove it 1,000 back home and it was worth the wait and effort. I have zero complaints about the Venza and blame toyota for bad marketing and basically acting like it didn't exist. The Crown Signia will get 36 mpg versus Venza's 40. The Signia will have towing capacity tho. Still, as someone who doesn't go camping and does long road trips and city driving, I don't need towing. The Signia also looks too boxy for my tastes. Oh well, love my Venza and plan to drive it for years to come.

The Crown Insignia is a raised station wagon, not a SUV, and it is longer and larger than Venza. Therefore, I would not say it replaces the Venza. Toyota will stop selling Venza in 2025 since it competes with its Lexus NX350h, and it is a much better deal if you don’t care about the badge.

Interesting that the driver rating is 4 star and not 5 star in the crash testing. All in all, when looking at the real world data, such as insurance claim data, it does rank in the middle I guess. Nothing like having an Outback, safety wise. It seems all hybrid SUVs do pretty good in the medium sized range. The Outback station wagon / SUV is simply exceptional. With the Forester pretty good as well. Where the Venza is amazing is that you have a more luxury car, plus the hybrid, at a low cost, should you choose the LE model. So now it is an orphan. Oh well, my Ford Fusion is too --- no love from the maker it seems. Ever looked at the pricing on the Corolla Cross Hybrids on the lot? Good grief, much more than the Camry now, and way too close to the RAV4 hybrid or this Venza. Wait, they can make a Camry hybrid for $30k, so why the Corolla Cross Hybrids $35K? Strange times we live in.

I researched the (2nd Gen) 2023 Venza for months before I had to travel to an adjacent state to review and buy one (purchased XLE). The way this SUV was marketed borders on criminal: produce a high-quality, beautiful, and desirable car requiring people to pay outrageous upcharges and/or flee to other states to buy one. Then, pull the plug and announce you are ceasing production after model year 2024. As a driver who owned my 1999 Lexus RX300 for five days less than 24 years, I plan on keeping my Venza for many, many years. I have no interest in the ugly/blocky Crown with it's amphibian-like grill. Unbelievable.
