Another quality update Pete. I'm excited to see how we continue to shape up for the new season. As you said, in Monchi we have a real quality member of the team and he's certainly going about business in a positive way. Really looking forward to how Enzo fits in and adapts. Great Video Pete! I think by the end of this window our height will be a weapon and not a liability. A lot of our signings have flexibility in positional play and tick a lot of boxes playing in the EPL. I feel Diaby lacked the physicality of playing in traffic in the middle (no.10 role) and defensively a liability. There is better players for the type of money he cost. A block buster signing or two still coming I feel if we can get Diaby and Duran sold for decent money. But already a great transfer window. Looking forward to your next one Pete!

10:30 Hull didn’t lose money on the deal. They signed him for £5m and we retained a matching clause and sell on clause. Everton and Ipswich offered £18m, we offered the same. Whoever signed him, £5m was owed to Villa as a sell on. So by Villa signing him back, the £5m is owed back to us which would just be deducted from Jade’s fee. Hull made a tidy £8m on him, as they would’ve had either of the other two clubs signed him.

Great video as always. Not sure how you concluded Hull lost money on the Jaden deal. Either they get 18mio from Ipswich and 30% of it go to Villa or they get the net amount directly from Villa. It’s the same amount in the end. All in all, Hull made about 7,5 mio profit for showcasing the player for 1 season while benefiting from his service. That’s a great deal.

Michael Kayode to Villa. (Right back) 19GBP. Kosta will slot in to our squad and play a part. Cash had his moments but that's not it. There are levels. Philogene back to Villa makes me very happy. All new players are good additions. Nice window. The right back issue isn't new news. Since Kenny Swain it's been an issue. That is ridiculous in terms of time.

Average? Cmon mate, he's changed the face and level of England football. From an embarrassment to consistent last four finishing teams. I agree we need someone else now to go further forward but give him his dues, he's elevated us in world football and in the eyes of the nation. 10yrs ago we were a laughing stock now we are expected to go all the way
